Lol, funny to hear people still talking about Frontier. Thats the game that introduced me to Trials. I played the heck out of it (still have it on my phone). But it became to much of a Gacha game. I still log on every once in awhile tho.

Ok I picked up a few games in the sale this week on Xbox V rally 4 ultimate edition very cool rally game and bargain if you pick up the ultimate edition £18 (the season pass itself is £21.99) I also got Dakar 18 for £19.99 and man that game is a challenge I tried it last night & boom it’s 2am had to put it off to get to bed. I wasn’t sure how it would be but trying to read the roadbook & listen to the co-pilot is a lot of fun. Another game that is a steal if you ask me is baja edge of control I think it’s like £4 or something that’s a great price for another cool driving game. Ok that’s my driving game deal rant over

I've not picked up the crawler as not enough acorns yet, spent them on other things I guess 🙄.

Vrally is a very solid title. Pity most people will overlook it. Bought on Playstation a long while ago. Baja is another solid racer if you can get it cheap, not quite in the same league as Vrally, but worth a pickup going that cheap.Originally Posted by gerble72 Go to original post

The developers should be ashamed asking full retail price for that piece of trash. It’s like a bunch of high school students knocked together a demo for a school project. I wouldn’t even recommend that game for $0.01. On paper it sounds amazing, but the reality is an unfinished, bug-ridden mess with some of the most laughable physics I’ve ever seen in a 3D racing game. We’ll be lucky to ever see a decent Dakar game again thanks to those clowns.

Ok I would agree with you on Dakar when it first came out which is why I didn’t get it or pay full price but since then they must have did some work on it because I actually like it. (I like weird games though lol) they have did about 10+ updates on the game and to be fair it plays ok I ain’t came across any bugs. Plus they have 2 dlc maps which are free. So give it another look and see if you still think the same
As for baja I hope people get it then we can have a race maybe one day it’s a great game and a steal at that price (come on boss get it)

It didn’t cost me money I haven’t collected the squirrels yet 😉 so only have to look for them and I should have enough for the crawler and the 2 track packs
Like I said I think the last 3 bikes have been way better than the others that came before them.

@Gerbs As promised I tried Dakar again. I will concede it is slightly less ****e than it was before, but I still can’t recommend it when there are better games out there. Bikes are slightly less ****e than before, but still ****e. ATVs are still laughably bad and glitchy as all hell. All the other 4 wheelers are fine (they always were), but nothing to write home about. The terrain and collision detection is still rough for all vehicles. All the modes are a waste of time other than the Dakar itself, which is somewhat interesting. The one saving grace is the game is far from ugly. It was somewhat pretty before, but seems improved and even has weather effects that I don’t recall being there. In summary, the turd isn’t steaming anymore.
On a slight tangent, the Crawler is really nice. Feels more refined than the Panda, I like it. Like Rude, I don’t like this micro transaction crap for bikes.
