Nice use of the song Sabotage by the Beastie Boys in this latest Destiny 2 trailer. I think the trailer is funny enough to share here.

    Morning, folks.

    Prey Slaughtered, Crystal Sage.

This was one tough fight. Nearly reduced me to a quivering wreck. Get the Sage down to half health and she clones copies of herself, all firing magic projectiles at you. Tough, very tough.

Farron Keep, what a dank depressing area this is. Tough enough without having to walk at a snails pace, due to the boggy swamp. Three flames extinguished, we march on.

Thanks to Boss and Sir Baz for the code. I shall use it towards the Dishonoured 2 DLC. Thanks again, guys.

In a bit folks. Enjoy the weekend.

    DS3 memorable moments:

At a certain point in Undead Settlement you come across enemies being pelted by huge spears. Continue forward and the spears launch at you and quickly destroy you if you'd don't get the hell out. A while later, you befriend a certain NPC and you can revisit the area and the spears won't hit you but will still kill the enemies. Brilliant.

Working my way towards some ruins and I heard a clicking, scurrying sound behind me. Turns out it was a little crab I'd walked past about a minute previous. The little git had followed me 100 yards through the swamp, and was at the bottom of some stairs still making his way to me. I just grinned and left him.

I would like to dedicate a song to your pet crab Rudemod. The dedication with that poor little guy. This songs drum beat to me sounds like the scamper of little crab legs scurrying along.

    Hope everyone's doing good.

Ha, ha. The crab said thank you.

    Prey Slaughtered, Abyss Watchers

This guy took me to the brink. Of madness, feelings of ineptitude and throwing the controller through the window. Bad idea that though, I only have the one.

The first phase of this battle could cause problems, but the second phase was the one giving me a hard time. Finally managed to avoid his flame whip and get in close and sort him out.

    We go on.

    DS3 update:

Prey Slaughtered, Deacons of the Deep.

An enjoyable battle, this one. The boss will spawn lots of his minions and you have to take them out, eventually revealing himself.

    Prey Slaughtered, High Lord Wolnir.

This one wasn't too bad, just took a few attempts lol. Get in close and deal damage, being careful he doesn't squash you or swipe with his huge arms. Also spawns skeleton helpers.

    Prey Slaughtered, Curse Rotted Greatwood.

One of the early bosses, returned after levelling up a little. The first time I faced him I didn't even hit him and ran like a squealing nipper. Not so on this occasion. Also gives you something what you can use to make weapons for souls.

    We go on....

Hope everyone is well. The silence around here is deafening.

    *Waves at Mower.

    Enjoying the golf, bud?

    Hello gang. Hope you're good.

Got a niece that is nine and a nephew at seven. Yesterday they were playing the Wii U I've got hooked up in the living room like a couple MLG's, but none cared to be on the losing end of matches. I decided to try something different and pulled out the Nintendo 64 that I had boxed up in the basement. Hooked it up to the small 19 inch TV in the spare bedroom. I haven't played the thing in something like 18 years. Runs perfect and it's been such a long time from the last time I've played the thing that the button mapping and controllers themselves feel so weird, but nothing out of place by any means. The two games I've kept with it are Mario Kart and GoldenEye 007.

The first cartridge I put in to test the console was GoldenEye. This is what you see when you turn the game on.

    Nostalgia, aaaah..... I guess.

The kids at first were like, (uhm, what's this? Why is it ugly?) "Can I try it?"

They tried the 007 game a bunch of times but they got slaughtered right from the start not knowing how to aim/shoot/reload/walk around. I turned it off to put in the Mario Kart game as this one really isn't the greatest game for the younger player. One thing I totally forgot about with these older systems is that they don't have a Operating System screen . Or whatever you call that screen that the consoles have these days when they are turned on without a game installed. You know, the home screen. This Nintendo 64 has a pitch black screen with nothing going on. That's waaay different from nowadays and it really threw me back to how much the times have changed since then.

The Mario Kart game was a huge success. They played that for a long long time together and actually gave the Wii U a rest for most of the day. I'm wondering if the novelty of having the old console hooked up will still be here today? Whether they play it or not, we'll see.

    Later troopers

Nice to see you stop in today. Bet you're in need of a snuggles commercial, well here you go.

As you know from reading my previous post. I've dug out my old Nintendo 64 and hooked that up yesterday. I remember when I first bought this console. It went something like this.

Still, no matter how I ended with this thing. I barely touched the thing. Now I remember why I boxed it up in the first place. I just never liked playing it. The controller is ridiculous, and a couple games made for the system use seizure inducing blinking color patterns. The games to me really aren't all that fun. I just got done playing 20 minutes of Mario Kart 64 and I couldn't wait for it to be over half way thru. I don't think these games aged well at all. They looked way better with the old glass tube TV's, these new flat screens are a hindrance to the olden entertainment devices prior. Things were different then, even commercials for games were different compared to the way they are now.

Take care gang, until next time. I'll just leave you with this one last snuggles commercial. (WARNING: watch with caution, may be inappropriate but I don't care)

    Prey Slaughtered, Pontiff Sulyvahn.

Quite the adversary, this chap. Got him down to 10% health solo but thought I'd try using an Ember to summon an NPC. Was enough to enable me to work at old Pontiff. Still wasn't a breeze, by any means.

@Joe, how big is this game? The levels seem to be huge, and very complex lately. Great level design, how the levels connect, and the shortcuts you enable over time.
