Did you know the fastest riders in this game are a bunch of scrubbers. That is right, and let us learn about the scrubs. Just watch this short video with some riders demonstrating form and function first hand.

A scrub is used to “scrub” off height when going over a jump. The quicker you get your tire back on the ground, the faster you can go. That's really all it really means with the word, but actually doing it.... Well now:

As you head for the jump you want to scrub, hit it at an angle opposite to the way you're going to lean. Approach the lip heading slightly to the right if you're going to be leaning left. Just before you leave the face of the jump, turn the wheel back to the left. If you did it right, your dirt bike should whip back to the direction you want to head in the air. Everyone hates feeling the front tire wash out (slide) but it actually needs to a little at this point. Squeeze the bike hard with your knees and keep weight on the opposite side you're scrubbing on. Snap your front wheel the opposite way as you takeoff so that your dirt bike starts to straighten up. Now that you're in the air, focus on the landing.

Once that back wheel is planted firmly in the dirt – and assuming you're still on the dirt bike – take advantage of the situation, crack the throttle, and pull ahead of the rest of the motocross pack.

    Simple, isn't it?

This is another type of scrubs video, and one of my personal favorites.

    Fare thee well, old friends.

I'm going to edit this post some time later today and into the future, turning it into a music video stash.

    Hope you enjoy your day.

The Trials Garage has been updated with info about future updates.

    Link to see it: http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php...e-Update!-9-28

My thoughts about it? Nice to see something no matter the news being good or bad. This falls somewhere in the good categorize. Doesn't sound like they want to rush it, making a better overall fit & finished Title, and taking advantage of new advances.

    Have a good one folks.

Great to see you donkey master.

You've left a lasting impression on me with your exquisite detail to the finer things in life. Your tracks all have beautiful detail and I thought it would be fun to bring out the crappiest thing you've made. Ha ha..

You do drawings, right? I have been eager to find out what kind of pencils you've got. Just curious because you're the only other person in the Clubhouse that I know of that uses a artist's pencil set.

You best have the best day ever best buddy!

Signing in here is painful and there's always way too much to respond to here than I'm capable of. Had to sign in to lol tho...spectacular post Mower!

Everyone should check the Trials Garage thread if Gerbs hasn't already steered you there. I believe they're telling us Trials won't be the next RL console game we'll be seeing in a PR speak way.

Of course I could be wrong, vague info I'd heard plus the studio visits etc made it look otherwise but now with Eno leaving and this Garage post I have very little faith any more :/

Edit: Missed reading a whole page ffs XD happy late Birthday btw Rudeboy

    Welcome to the haunted clubhouse.

It's October, and that means your annual 'got to play a horror game this month' has started XD

    Suggestions are appreciated.

I'm going to be hard pressed at putting in a bunch of posts this month. This is harvest time and everything happens as weather allows for it to happen. Meaning fieldwork, farmhand, feeding and f*ck-it I'm tired happen all at the same time.

Checked to see if they have a Halloween track building comp. going on but didn't see any postings about one at the moment.

Wish those of you that have never built a track before would just say screw-it and actually have a go at building something. It's like the perfect time to push yourselves into making one. You can't mess this up at all, seeing as the people who would be playing it will be scared riding it. They might even scream also. Who knows,... profanity likely.

    Be kind... rewind folks

Oh my... My track would definitely bring chills, but probably in all the wrong ways. It would be scary in the form of "it scares me that it's possible to build such a bad track" Maybe I'll start something now for next year's Halloween... but don't hold your breaths!

I've spent my weekend watching streams of people playing Cuphead. Such a cool little game. I love everything about it except playing it... (I had a go and downed one boss on easy, but it's definitely a challenging one for me... I'm not good at platforming or shooting and this game is both). I can definitely recommend checking it out, it has a lot of really cool bosses and old style jazz tunes
