I'd conservatively say you're about halfway through atm Rude, couple optional areas you might've missed so far maybe. Slight shame you'd not played the previous 2 DS as there's story throwbacks etc but hopefully everything's stood up well on it's own. Will be hovering about near the PS in a couple hrs and try and keep an eye out for ya.

Half way? Certainly get your money's worth.

Thanks, Joe. I did play the first Dark Souls. Orgstein and Smaugh? were the death of me, bud. Very good game but I prefer the newest DS(so polished), and Bloodborne is my favourite of the 3 games I've played. One problem for me is I play DS3 as I would Bloodborne: dodge or counter, see an opportunity and steam in. It's worked so far but will it last? Will I have to alter tactics, or call on your good self?. What's a shield for? These questions and many more will be answered in the next episode of Soap.

Would love a Remake/Remastered version of Demon's Souls on the PS4.

    Prey Slaughtered, Old Demon King.

Enjoyable scrap, but I'm sure there will be tougher foes ahead.

    We go on.

My mistake, thought this was your first DS mate. And two thirds is possibly more accurate, still a decent chunk left rest assured lol. I never played Demons myself, can't bring myself to go back now either even though I do feel like I need to play it to complete the set kinda thing.

Shields are a bit of a bait in DS games, they're there if you feel you need em but you can play just like BB. In fact if you read the Plank Shield description in BB you'll get an insight into the Devs attitude to players who use Shields

I doubt you're going to need any help at the rate you're going tbh man, I'm definitely down to jump in if you do tho!

Ringed City DLC will probably be right up your alley too, just like Old Hunters for BB it ups the challenge a fair whack and fills in some of the gaps really nicely.

Ha, ha. I like this, Joe, 'Shields are nice, but not if they engender passivity'.

I'd enjoy playing the DLC for this and BB, as well as NG+ on the latter. Have the game of the year editions. I may need to play something a little more calming next up though. Maybe Trials HD lol.

This Smouldering Lake part is tricky.

Hope you are having fun, it's a good day and I'm glad to see you.

Here is a movie for you to watch tonight. Pop that pop corn, dim those lights, press play on the VCR, and see the sights.

    Prey Slaughtered, Yhorm the Giant.

This guy's health bar took some serious whittling down, even with a summoned NPC.

Had some fun dodging and destroying Silver Knights along the rooftops of Irythyll. Was destroyed myself a couple of times before I could get behind them and take them out one by one. Brilliant part of this level.

The next area is Anor Londo. That sounds really familiar. Can't wait to jump in.

@Joe, whilst Embered I was forced to invade other player's games to take out the host. This is not something I feel comfortable doing, and a reason I try and stay hollow most of the time. However I will admit to getting a little thrill when I slaughtered the host, and his mate.

The new Xbox Update is ****. Why can't they just leave things as they were. Every update just makes it worse.

In a bit, folks. Enjoy the weekend. Hoping some of you can remember where the Club House is.

@Rudemod- You're unstoppable! Way to go. Unbelievable amount of fine tuned mega perfected gaming skill. Most impressive! I'm kinda sad I'm missing out on this.

Destiny 2 has been a non stop grind fest for myself these past couple of days. I've only now just completed the the main story campaign.

@ all- Howdy Forum dwellers. What you doing?

It's super crazy and I love it.. I tried Forza 5 too, but it nearly put me to sleep. And then there was this trials something.... but I think I have it already???
Going to the hospital on Monday to test the nerves in my hands.. hopefully they find something interesting... keeping my fingers crossed at least

Hope you are all enjoying your weekend!

@Mower, thanks pal. I'm kinda sad you're missing out on this, too. Hope you're enjoying Destiny.

@Kristin, thanks! Hoping for some positive news for your hands. I'll be back on the XB1 soon to catch up, being as no one posts here lol. Just want to finish DS3.

Prey Slaughtered, Aldrich, Devourer of Gods.

Prey Slaughtered, Dancer of the Boreal Valley.

    Prey Slaughtered, Dragonslayer Armour.

Fell off the castle sides a couple of times during the Dragonslayer fight, rather embarrassing, and will admit to a little help from a summoned NPC.

These latter stages are quite intense at times, testing you to the limit. So many memorable encounters, with tricky adversaries.

    We go on.
