Well, have to a fair amount of faffing about, and copious amounts of useful tips from Regs, we finally got co-op working. Very enjoyable, and Father Gascoigne can do one. He was a tough 'son of a' and I was struggling to beat him if I'm honest.

@Joe, not ready any Lovecraft stuff, but read work by many authors who are influenced by him; Graham Masterton, Tim Curran, Rich Hawkins and Ramsey Campbell, to name a few.

Thanks for offering valuable assistance, and your enthusiasm. Great game.

Should have thanked Mower there as well really. Appreciate the assistance, bud. Ring that bell if you want me to return the favour. We both have insight.

The odd times I forced Gascoigne to metamorphose into some Lovecraftian nightmare, said nightmare ravaged me within seconds.

Thanks Rudemod and JoeRegular! I finally have a Trophy in Bloodborne by beating the Cleric Beast. That feels great! I owe it all to you guys, especially you mod man. This was the one game that had been in my Trophy list without a single Trophy for well over a year now. Subtly, was embarrassed by that. Glad I could team up, and see Rudemod in action. He is a real pro at this game, he totally whooped Father Gascoigne. It was a glorious boss battle, as Rudemod was unstoppable reigning destruction down on him.

It's crazy how much I'm really looking forward to playing this again. It's a whole lot of fun being a glass canon. That and seeing the Rudemod in action taking down these horrendous giant monsters. Can't wait to do it again!

Hope everyone's weekend is going good. Sturgis is going on at the moment and I should post some pictures or a video perhaps.
Here is a video of maybe half of the main drag. It's just getting underway so expect a lot more action to come of this event.

'Reigning destruction down on him', I like that. Mate, you did old Cleric yourself. Nothing to do with my skills, or lack thereof. I just got lucky with Gascoigne (whilst you distracted him).

Opened up a couple more lamp safe spots, so a few areas to explore, and now have a dude with a chain gun spraying bullets everywhere. Should be fun.

Down to one insight now, and only 3 Blood Vials. Wasted 7 insight on Gascoigne's attire, which probably didn't help. Tackled The Blood Starved Beast with a NPC who you can summon before the boss encounter (Alfred). Still failed.

Blood Starved Beast is still alive and well, as is the mini gun dude. Not doing too well really lol.

I can certainly see the Lovecraft influence, Joe. Stunning creatures.

    Good morning gang!

One thing that is a real pleasure is taking a big deep breath of fresh air in the morning. It just has a distinctive smell and feeling that goes away as the day goes on. Hope you had a good breather this morning and good breathers throughout your day.

Talking about breathers, Rudemod nuked this thing:

The Blood Starved Beast was a relentless creature that when placed in a 1vs1 situation with the Rude master. Rudemod literally vaporized it. It was awesome!

Like that song, uhhhh how does it go..... oh yah,

    Los Rudemod kick your @ss!
    Los Rudemod kick your face!
    Los Rudemod kick your balls
    into outer spaaaaaaaace!

You're nuts, Mower. In a good way of course.

Old blood Starved was a tough nemesis. Had numerous attempts to tackle him, a few times with the NPC Hunter and 2 goes with my distraction buddy. Our first go, Mower, we almost had the slapper. Finally beat him though. Mower perished (valiant effort!) and old Blood Starved still had half health. I was screwed, or was I?

I scampered behind the scenery at the back of the room and he was chasing me around it and the next thing I know the message 'prey slaughtered' came up. Glitch? Who knows, he's dead though.

Have 2 insights as well. The fight goes on.

If anyone wants to mention current games that are keeping them busy, go for it.

    Hope you're all well.

    In a bit.

Today I worked with Caran d'Ache, DERWENT, and Faber-Castell while listening to Boccherini.

    (edit)
I also farmed in Bloodborne to reach character level 37. Bought a spike driver weapon for 8,000 echoes. Had to raise my strength to 18 just to equip it and that is the main reason I was farming that much. Tried the new weapon out but still prefer using the original Clever weapon over it.
