I love all those old games and have been looking for names lately, now have loads to look for
I've been playing Star Defenders many iterations lately,

Another great 1 is Star Sword, check em out, love that site, fast and free, a great way to kill an hour or 3 on the laptop

Come on Boss I know you want Forza Horizon 3. It will be a nice distraction over the holidays and it least it will tide us over if the new Crew DLC ends up being as underwhelming as it looks.

No mans sky.
once you have upgraded your ship and suit it turns into a exploring game where you can explore a universe with diverse planets, flora and fauna. Which you can search for materials, technology, alien languages, ancient buildings.

there is also a story quest where you follow a atlas path.

proper multiplayer would make it more interesting.

I personally don't think all the hate directed towards this game is justified. I think people for the most part are just bitter that they bought into the hype, pre-ordered (or blind bought) a game they knew little about (in a genre they don't typically play) and had a tantrum once it didn't meet their unrealistic expectations. Another large chunk of the negativity comes from the the people who are unhappy with the amount of demoed/promised content not in the final game. Those people do have a point, but at the same time they shouldn't be supporting the toxic industry practice of per-ordering - especially on a new IP. My opinion.

That being said I personally didn't find the main game-play loop all that enjoyable, but the sense of scale and seamless way one is able to traverse through a vast universe is really something else.

I somewhat knew what I was getting myself into. I wasn't expecting anything other than a niche Indie title with some impressive tech and an over-inflated price-point and that's exactly what I got

It will be interesting to see what future updates will bring to the game.

hey guys thanks for the COD 2 multiplayer it was great fun
had a great time streaming it too

been playing far cry 4 again forgot how great that game is
no mans sky is still a fun way to lose hours
going to attempt homefront soon to see what its like now after fixes

i agree, in its current state it's a good indie game.

What they achieved with the team size is amazing, to make an amazing game as well would take a lot more people, I agree the scale and seamless nature of the universe is special and I hope either them or someone else takes it to the next the level.

Hope you are all well. My office was struck by a nasty virus which has encrypted our main server, so today I get to work from home. (Never click attachments you don't know, it could lead to a seriously bad time.)

Thanks to Gerble and Shakey for some forza horizon 2 fun yesterday... nothing like a few rival battles to brush up on those driving skills! Great party night last night too, with lots of us playing different games. I love how we can always get together even if we're doing different things

Forza Horizon goes free for gold members today (and is backwards compatible as well!), and I've already sneakily downloaded it while working so that it's ready for when I'm done. Even if it's an older game I'm sure it will be fun while waiting for the big FH3 drop at the end of the month! Maybe we can get some rivalry going there too

Also nice so many people are into Forza ...I remember way back when it was hard to find any Forza players around here.

Fallout 4:; Nuka World

It has taken over my life .... that is good and bad,

Its nice to play a game that I love .... but i really need to make sure I get some other games in there when I can.

So I might jump back on FM6 and of course a-bit of The Crew is always cool.

Now back to Nuka-World... its a blast with so many parts of the map to explore.

Last night I was down in a mine-shaft ride dealing with 10' long WORMS......YUCK ! ! !

......and the western town was right out of RDR ! Check out my video with a full 360 view of the park on the Act. Feed.

They did everything right and with so many side quests this game will keep me busy for months !

I hope to finish Nuka-World & maybe Far Harbor before FH3 comes out

I'd like to thank Matt & Barry for all of their help with the game & DLC.

I do wish I could see my good buddy Rude playing Nuka-World the next time I jump online.

We all miss you buddy ...... please drop-in for at least a visit very soon.
