    No mans sky.
once you have upgraded your ship and suit it turns into a exploring game where you can explore a universe with diverse planets, flora and fauna. Which you can search for materials, technology, alien languages, ancient buildings.

there is also a story quest where you follow a atlas path.

proper multiplayer would make it more interesting.

Fair point, Boss. We're mature enough not to argue. If anyone is shy or doesn't want to speak openly, a PM to you is fine.

    Exactly.

Good one, Gerb. If you're still playing and having fun with the game after 20 days or so, like I did on Fallout, then I'll concede that it may actually be fun.

You haven't lived if a Deathclaw hasn't torn you apart, or a Queen Mirelurk hasn't ambushed you in a swamp lol.

    DIfferent strokes and all that.

    Mornin', Morf.

I would say Evo Friday was a success. Enjoyed running all the tracks (I picked them, so I'm a little biased lol). Thanks to Ozy, Shakes, Boop, Gerb, Mo, Kristin, Boss, Nov, and Mathatter for the party.

There were some harsh weather conditions out there last night. Kept the hornets at bay though.

If we have future nights, anyone can nominate tracks to run. I'll try anything, even a few Boss picks lol.

In a bit, folks. Enjoy the weekend.

    Hi Gang,

Rude: my HLC picks are classics .. look we are still talking about them 4yrs later. I loved "almost" everyone of them.

...and hey ! I get a pass after all we have my old age ( gerbs is already putting me in the " home " lol )

...and my old good as gold ( Platinum ) fall back line.....who started all of this any way

Look I may be 54 but I can game like a 53 year old any day .... & best of all my heart, soul & mind ( whats left of it ) are still in there 20's

Evo Friday / OTHG open house day1 :

Thank you all ( Kristin,Mo & gerbs,Rude,Ozy,Shakey, booped,Nova,Mathatter ) for a great old school OTHG online party.

I'll say it for the 10,000th time ....all of you OTHG'sters that miss a OTHG party are missing out on some of the best times in the gang !

.... and I have loved everyone of them that we've had over the last 4+ yrs. ( +/- a handful of members having a bad day or 2much drink )

Sorry I missed a-bit of the party yesterday but had a call from my sweet older sister that loves to chat.

mathatter: We'll get you thru that Crew story mode and any1 else that wants to ride along & level-up is welcome. ( hint...Rude & Barry )

No Mans Sky : Had another look last night and gerbs & booped you guys are so right....what a cool game.

Please let me know when you stream it again.....

    See you in space !

    BB's Fallout4 fun:

Got in a fight with a 1/2 monster -1/2 SWAN BOAT lol last night & my reward is on the Act. Feed ( That is if its working today ? )

Also started to build my own Power Armor showcase / man cave w/ bar .. strobe lights...pool table.....

....... & all my cool FO4 cool items that I've picked up so far.

Man I wish they had put-in a lava light and some black light posters ( Both were big in the 70's OTHG youngsters )

I "might" even force myself to take a few ss & vids when I finish my new hangout

( I know ... you all hope the Act. Feed is still on the blink when that day comes around

I hit level 34 last night ..... might be time to pick-up some DLC ! ( There go's another 1000hrs of my life )

What a great game .... thank-you Rude & Barry for giving me the push I needed to pick-up this awesome game.

Might even be more fun then racing .......... ha ha I bet you thought I'd lost it for a second there !

Don't worry racing is and will always @ the top of my gaming list !

I guess this is close to a mini-MEGA post .......

God bless you all and thank-you for being part of my life & such great friends !

Lets do it all over again today ............see you in the OTHG online club house....btw its BYOPJ&F ( Bring your own prune juice & fiber )

Been a fun week, I think pretty much every day has been an Evo day for someone
I'm off to England tomorrow and pretty much all packed, even though I am sure I have forgotten a ton of things I'll need ...always the case.
Excited to meet Shakey and Nova and Ami. I will wave at the rest of you from the plane tomorrow morning at around 7:30

    Hi, everyone.

Kristin, hope you enjoy your English holiday. Bangin' weather, too hot for the Rudester.

Top 7 games (plus system played on):

Dungeon Master (Amiga) 1,000's of enjoyable games on this extremely popular 16 bit computer (in Europe anyways). One of many Amiga games that could have been selected but I went with this one. An intense Dungeon Crawler, with many devious puzzles.

Metal Gear Solid (PS1). Many PS1 titles were good and this was the one most memorable for me. Yes, it wasn't the longest game and the story make little sense (if any). It was, however, damn fun.

System Shock 2 (PC). Played many a FPS on PC around this time. This RPG/FPS was intense, and bloody good fun.

Halo:Combat Evolved. (Xbox). Enjoyable campaign, varied enemies each with their own unique sounds and tactics, fun split screen multiplayer. The main reason (at the time) the PS2 got traded in.

Fallout 3. (Xbox 360). Yes, some say it's boring and PC users will probably say the FPS perspective ruined the game. I say different. My love of shooting stuff with many varied and crazy weapons, added to the Post Apocalyptic setting and many unique areas and stunning side missions make this a big winner in Rude's eyes. A lot tougher than Fallout 4 as well.

Deus Ex:Human Revolution (Xbox 360). A Cyberpunk classic. The original could have been selected as well, but went for the last game released. Completing the game in stealth without killing anybody, and then going all Rambo second time around, and a 3rd playthrough to mop up the full 1,000G lol. Loved this game.

Bioshock (Xbox 360). Stunning setting, very enjoyable story. A Dystopian classic.

Trials HD/Evolution (Xbox 360). Think back to the Summer of Arcade. Such great games, one of them was a little bike game with crazy action, rock hard levels and pure addictiveness. Trials HD was a landmark Arcade game, the follow up smashed it out the park. <3

    Honourable mentions:

    Super Mario World (Snes)
    Super Metroid (Snes)
    Half Life (PC)
    Ridge Racer (PS1)
    Broken Sword (PS1)
    Kick Off 2/Sensi (Amiga)
    Dead Space (Xbox 360)
    Gears 1 (Xbox 360)
    Modern Warfare (Xbox 360)
    Crysis 2 (Xbox 360)
    Dead Rising (Xbox 360)
    Geometry Wars (Xbox 360)
The Darkness (Xbox 360) In fact, any game by Starbreeze.
    Alien Isolation (Bone)

Lets hear yours, folks. You don't have to go into detail like I have lol.

    Laters, troop.

There's a familiar pattern emerging folks. Shooting stuff. Story led shooters. Hardly any racers. Won't be popular with the Boss lol.

    Ok, top 8.

Good morning from the lovely town of Reading

I'm just chilling in my hotel room before I head to Bath, so I thought I'd drop by and say hi!
Had a great afternoon yesterday, Shakey gave me the grand tour of the town
I think I may have walked more the last two days then I usually do during a whole month. So all is well, really well

    Here's my list!

Theme Hospital (pc)- One of the first games that really sucked me in and made me forget time existed. I loved this game sooo much, yet I never finished it because it had a random crash bug on one of the levels a few hours in. Hilarious strategy game.

Final Fantasy X (ps2)- My absolute favorite of the series. I love the turn based playstyle. Kinda sad that none of the later games have kept that, though I am sure most people would disagree. I like having time to think about my moves

Guild Wars (pc) - My first MMORPG. I really loved the storyline of this one. Music was awesome as well.

World of Warcraft (pc)- This game claimed 2 years of my life! I don't really love it anymore, though, they are really stretching things to keep it going, I feel, but still... I did play it quite religiously for a while.

Mario Kart (ds, wii, wii u) - so crazy and fun

Skyrim (ps3/pc/x360) - The atmosphere, the storyline, the gameplay, the music.... There is nothing I don't love about this game. Waiting in excitement for the remastered version so I can buy it for the 4th time

Trials (pc/ps4/x1/x360) - I love all these games, except blood dragon (yes, fusion too). It's sooo difficult sometimes, but so rewarding when you finally nail something. And hey, it's how I met all of you guys

    7 fav games

Elite - My first computer was an acorn electron as I was doing a computer studies course at school, someone brought elite in and it blew my mind withs its 3d graphics, lost many days loading the blooding thing and playing it.

Doom - was working for a company and someone had the shareware on a PC just after it was released, everything about it was just amazing, graphics, gameplay, speed, brutality.

Quake - From the moment qtest was released I was hooked, still play some quake live to this day, I was in one of the first UK quake clans called Demonic Core and used to go by the name dc_dd and sometimes betty_boop the video above has two players that were also in DC.

Motorhead - First racing game that I really got into, for the time the graphics and speed of this game were amazing, online play was excellent with a great group of committed racers on the PC, I used to run a site called motorhead@barrysworld and DICE the developers of the game asked me to do some hot laps that were included in the version 3 PC patch.

Portal 1 & 2 - Turned the FPS mechanic on its head to make a very enjoyable game where you had to think and play.

Trials - Just the most addictive game I've experienced period.

The Last of Us - For me, the best story driven game by miles the storyline, dialogue and gameplay are so well judged.
