Quite possibly my favourite Northern tune. It's a slow number, but they don't have to all be stompers.
This one would be up there as well lol.
And this one:
KTF.
@rudy: yeah not bad, it sounds a bit doorsy & they could of done something with the creaking door, incorporated it into the tune or used it to help fatten up that week @$$ bass, nice bass riff though but theres no power to the sound at all, it sounds flat. but that could be due to the age of it, when was it released? 80s?
I've never really been into the doors, they're too friggin miserable mate, imagine doing hallucinogens with that doom merchant, he'd be putting everyone on bad un.
spinning about waving his arms in the air & singing nonsense, we would have to get a grip,
"OI MORRISON! SIT DOWN YOU BORING TW@T & STOP SPINNING EVERYONE OUT!
well, probably.
LA WOMAN is the only one I ever really liked.
are you gonna be on laters rudy?
Afternoon Ladies and Gents and variations. thereupon.
Before I delve deep into the confusing world of Ubi forums, I need to ask, is anyone suffering from the same issue I am in relation to completing the demo of Trials of the BD in 15 faults or less?
To expand upon this, if you lovelies were not already aware, UbiLynx are saying that if we complete the demo version of TotBD (on PC) in 15 faults or less, it unlocks the full game for free.
The issue I am encountering is this; I complete the demo (first two levels) with 0F and then it prompts me to buy the full game. No unlocks for the full game are presented to me, be it in game, via Uplay or via email.
Have you guys suffered the same issue, or did the full game unlock for you?
Be great to hear back from you guys about this.
Regards
Andy B

check out wellers 80s dance moves lol & his massive flick haircut, to go with it.
Its a good job he can knock out a tune.

Secret Affair were second only to The Jam when it comes to the '79 revival bands.
The Prisoners? Yes mate, early 80's. Maybe not great production wise but they kicked arse. Awesome live.
The Style Council were ****. Still bitter he split up to form that pile of ****.That fringe weller had, beyond shocking, and Snowbeast could dance better.
Disgrace Phil? Little (very old) me?
Your impression of The Doors, PMSL. Our Boss will not be happy.
Braders, I wouldn't know mate. I'm not the best person to ask about that game lol.
I'm really interested in other peoples music tastes & what it is that they like about them.
Often it is something totally different to what you hear in that particular piece of music.
Before I started writing music, it was all about the energy that I got from the track (I think music should at the very least stir up an emotion whatever that may be?) & it needed to be from a credible band/artist, non of this simon cowell manufactured tosh.
now, its got a lot more complicated & sadly I can even identify which synth/s have been used to make the tracks, often being able to tell which preset they've used (if theyre lazy producers anyway)
I still think the energy thing is there but I now look for interesting arrangements, clever producer tricks they use to get more out of the tune or interesting unusual sounds, professional vocals & top quality production & mastering (making it ready to go on a CD)
SO what I want you to do, is take the first or last letter of the band/artist that the previous person chose.
so my song is
EVERY ME & EVERY YOU by PLACEBO
so the next person will choose an artist/band or song/album name, that you really like,
using the letters P or O
tell us what it is/was that you like/liked about that song & put the vid up here so we can all hear it (if you know how, if not ask someone else to post it for you)
firstly I think theyre a great band
I like the sinister/dark edge to the lyrics & the unusual sound of the lead singers vocals
but No1 for me with this tune is its drive & power, it makes me wanna smash $h!T up!
If im on my mountain bike at the top of a gnarly decent, this type of tune is definitely whats needed to chase away the voices of doom, it was also my soundtrack whilst away on tour in Iraq.
don't be boring gang if you see a letter that matches one of your favourites then please take the time to post.
obviously
Gerble will want to jump in straight away as theres a "P" up for grabs!!! (hope you & mo well buddy?)
psml!
@k2 you have changed(we are well thanks I hope you and yours are too)
Is this a trials thread it seems more like a music thread to me lol![]()

Just let the Modernist play, they like repetition overkill that lot, you should see the amount of mirrors on his Vespa, it keeps him out of trouble, if hes posting vids here hes not out there being a danger to himself and proper road users. :P
Nah, still the **** breath we all know and love.Originally Posted by gerble72 Go to original post

I'll play, Phil. The rest are boring:
As one or two of you may know (or not lol) The Jam were a big influence on me, growing up in the back streets of Derbyshire. Getting to secondary school in my new X Army Parka that absolutely buried me (but saw me through school lol) and being greeted with a sea of Denim was a bit of a shock. Didn't put me off though. Met my best mate at school during this time. You tended to hang about with those of your tribe, so we sought each other out as you do. My old best mate was a Heavy Rocker, so soon ****ed him off and started to hang around with my own tribe.Have so many fond memories of this period in my life.
One of which was this song. Taken off their 4th album, Setting Sons. The album before this one they'd nailed it, rising from the ashes of Punk to record the Sublime 'All Mod Cons'.
This album was a corker as well. Opening with 'Girl on the Phone', the sublime 'Thick as Thieves', and leading into this number. Only 3 members in the group but the guitar play from a young Weller, the tight drums from Mr.Buckler never missing a beat, and the Bass playing of Mr.Foxton, awesome stuff.
Hairs on the back of the neck? Anything by these does it, the bluebeat of Prince Buster, or many of the 1,000's of Northern tunes. We all appreciate different music and you know which music you like when those hairs stand up.
Private Hell ~ The Jam.
So folks, if you're playing it's P or L. Still chance for you to use that P, Gerb.
