I admit that I am not very well versed in the game or what's been released in terms of info, so this may seem a stupid question. Has their been any details on if the game will have a campaign? Complete with cutscenes and whatnot or is it just going to be another RS:S style no campaign? Lastly, is there any kind of guestimated projected release date yet or just sometime in '16?

I agree with Surf! I hate that! I had Rainbow Six: Siege preordered, but cancelled it when I found out it lacked a campaign. Same with Battlefront. I enjoy online gameplay, but online only? Nah! Servers close down eventually, and then yer stuck with a worthless game. I was particularly disappointed with RS:S, since it's based on a Tom Clancy Franchise, and considering Clancy was a writer who wrote stories...having a game with his brand without a story...just seems insane. Anyway, glad Wildlands isn't following that same idea....will definitely preorder it when i see the preorders as being available! Thanks!![]()
Gotta say I kinda agree with this. I mean, even the Free 2 Play Ghost Recon Online/Phantoms had some story elements in it that were vaguely plausible in the Clancyverse. There was no campaign as it was obviously a competitive oriented free2play game, but still... They tried.Originally Posted by ShaideCa Go to original post
Very glad to hear this. I sincerely hope Ubisoft continues to make games in this fashion, keeping it open to both the SP and MP crowd for years to come for franchises that always did (unlike RS: Siege for example).Originally Posted by UbiKeeba Go to original post
100% completely agree. For me, and a lot of people I know gaming is really casual and we play when ever we can. I have always been the type of person who will put on a game for a while before I go to bed. Well I don't want this super competitive thing or have someone spoiling the way I play. Not to mention I have the slowest internet on earth so the whole online thing doesn't work too well. For that reason The Division is off my wishlist and Ghost Recon Wildlands has skyrocket to the top.Originally Posted by ShaideCa Go to original post
