I think it would be cool to see a companion app that allows you to access a drone in a strictly reconnaissance mode only while away from the game. If the world is going to be constantly changing, I would want to keep eyes on my objective for as long as I could, gather as much Intel as possible before I attack.

No. Absolutely no for me. The idea is cool but I have trouble believing Ubi would let a companion app just be a second screen for a drone. They'd feel like it has to be integrated more somehow and that would cause problems. Second screen devices are cool and all but I personally don't find them necessary or wanted. But to each their own.
