Please explain how to bounce up and down on back wheel.
I can't figured it out. If you could please explain the controls on how to bunny hop up and down on the back wheel like the Ninjas do. Mostly see in the tracks where it requires you to use only your front and back wheel on all obstacles.

This how to is by a top ninja Shayne, its on Evo but same principles apply
Ps. Ninjas call this technique "stationary" in this case, back wheel stationary. Pay particular attention to the controller inputs shown in the bottom right corner

Thanks so much man! Hopefully I can get this down and progress my skill. I actually watch Shayne often. But I obviously never see this. Thanks again man.

I've been practicing ninja stuff pretty hard lately, and for myself, it seems you can't really learn much from tutorials or watching videos. You can get little tips, but it doesn't seem to make it much easier. My conclusion has been you just have to practice it over and over and over and over. Eventually you get a "feel" for a technique until it becomes more natural. (That's my guess and how I'm approaching it, but there are a lot better riders than me who may have better advice.) I've gotten pretty good at hopping backwards on my rear wheel, but my stationary is still pretty sketchy... maybe 5 or 6 times at the most. My throttle control is getting a LOT better though, easing up those vertical walls.
Keep practicing!

I agree, to an extent, with stooksman. I'd add that the tutorial at least puts you in the right frame of mind and on the right track, but nothing replaces many, many fails. Get the right idea from some of the amazing videos the community puts out, then perfect it through practice.

I'm not expert, but I can do them a little more sloppy than the pros lol
Its certainly very hard to explain but I'll try.
The technique is almost the same as jumping backwards on back wheel. The difference is that when the back wheel bounces up, you release the brake and slightly press gas.
You do this in very quick succession. Best thing to do is practicing it like other have stated then you'll get the timing right.
