    Why it's not numbered.

    I think the reason why this game isn't numbered is because Ubisoft is planning to do what they did with AC with this, it'll become a yearly release and there will be so many games that they've ditched the numbering like the ditched the numbering with AC4.

    It may not happen just beacuse AC is yearly does not mean that very Ubisoft IP will be come yearly

    Ubi will make 1-2 more FC games with no innovation. Use the same template from FC3, but less in terms of quantity and charge the same price.

    If people continue to buy it at that point, then they will annualize it.

    I'm glad I'm not the only one who has been wondering about this!
    While we can speculate about them becoming standalone games (eg: Blood Dragon), I'm just going to leave this here:

    A VERY intriguing video in my opinion, and it will be interesting to see what comes next in the FarCry series! Whether it's yet another standalone, or whether there's a way to tie it to the other numbered games!
