    Far Cry 4 Uplay won't download update!!

    So I just tried to start Far Cry 4 wanting to play with a friend and I haven't played since it's launch.
    Now I'm not able to download any update for some reason...

    I start it up, Uplay tells me there's a update for Far Cry 4, I press download and it says Downloadig 0/0 MB 0 Kb/s and it's been like that for half an hour now, nothing.

    I tried starting it up as admin, no change. It's also digital uplay version, so there's no way to verify the game as far as I know.

    anyone??

    Thanks a lot of the quick reply.
    Just found the verify button and did it.

    Weird thing, it said there was some corrupt files so I started repairing the game;
    Suddenly it started downloading the whole game 31475 MB ? Kinda weird that I had the option to play and all that if all my files were missing, or corrupt, isn't it?

    yep it looks like it needs to reinstall your entire game to apply all the updates .. some of the updates were rather large i have the game Via Steam and yes the updates were large when they came out ..(was not a problem for me as i have very fast internet) and several did make the game wonky and you had to verify the files in some cases if the patches did not install properly , so maybe that why it is reinstalling your entire game as you missed those larger updates? (there have been many patches to the game since launch ...on 11/18/2014,
    original shipped version was 1.2.0 i think ....and we are up to 1.10.0)

    dunno wish ya luck in getting it downloaded and installed properly again

    no matter where you Purchase the game from either Uplay or Steam it will only install the latest version .. the latest and final version of Far Cry 4 is 1.10.0

    there was never any 1.1 .0 version ever released ..the day the game shipped it was already patched to version 1.0.2

    the latest version (1.10.0) includes all Updates , and there are no more updates, or patches planned, or in the works ..the game = done
