Well ... Ubi wants to go into the competetive gaming sector for the very first time. They dont really have the knowledge to deliver a solid competetive game. You can see this in almost every aspect of the game even if its general gameplay idea is very very good.
The main idea behind those games is to bring in any amount of players and deliver a interesting ruleset and best possible conditions for that competetive game to happen. You cant secure best possible conditions for every player when 1 player is (randomly?) picked to host the whole process ... you can even feel it when you play. Movement feels clunky and laggy , hitregistration is weird , gameflow is interrupted (host migration) and so on ...
Release is coming somewhat soon and they wont be able to change their whole network architecture to release. I doubt they even realize the problem or have any clue what a competetive player wants. Since Siege shows that it is just a very lazy console-port for the pc ... i wont consider buying it at all ... ( i also hate the gameflow ... you stuck in matchmaking screens , loadout and strategic menus and loading screens for at least 50% of the time ... gnah )
