Is this game worth returning to?

Hello, I am Sespion, ex top (10-30 ish) player who quit the game 3-4 months. I left because the leaderboards were the worst I've ever seen, the game was still riddled with bugs, and it just demanded so much of your life. However i did enjoy my time with it and I have yet to find a game i enjoyed nearly as much. So I just want to know how the game has changed. Is it worth returning. Are the bugs more or less smoothed out. Most importantly is it possible to ever be competitive again or have i missed to much. I believe i left sometime in the frostpocalypse era so that should deduce what i haven't played. Thanks in advance
P.S. not sure if this is against the rules but anyone have better games to recommend if this game is a lost cause?

Bugs have been getting better, leaderboards have been getting cleaned up, and the introduction of the Stallion bike (Crazy bike tier) just introduced an entirely new style to play and completely changes strategy on some tracks.

Always hard to jump back into a game that you have been absent from, but yeah it looks like things are getting better around here. The new helpers (G00nzi, etc.) seem like they actually care and are really trying to get things sorted out. Also this new event is kind of cool. Much better than the last one.

Are all the tracks available or have i missed my chance at some of them?

I know some of the tracks are available for gem purchase like the original challenge pack track. However for the ones from certain events, I don't know if those are available post event or at any time after since I've always tried to snag all of them.

@sespion I'd love to see you back! I did the same thing but wasn't gone for quite as long. I got the frostpocalypse tracks all in the loot wheel, it took me like an hour to find them on the loot wheel. I don't plan on getting the tracks from this update (there are 3) because it's an absurd time commitment to unlock them, and I'd rather spend that time improving my times. It all depends on whether global score is your only goal or not. you will be able to unlock all the tracks eventually, probably just not right away.
also, the new "hard" tier 2 tracks alone are worth coming back for! I really like them, they were worth the 200 gem cost for the 6 tracks. I'd love to see more of your times on the leaderboards!

There are actually 7 tracks in this update, the 3 from the prize ladder and then 1 after each week of the event, assuming you are top 20% in horseshoes for the week. Also, if you want to add the tier 2 extreme tracks, that's another 6, and then the 4 from the agent event as well. Those are all the new once since Frostpocalypse, which after that event we had an even 150 (including the 3 PvP tracks).
