    Some of this stuff really is interesting as to who's got what, once you begin digging.

    For instance, this site says that the only remaining F3F is located in Pensacola:

    Yeah, there are alot of those "this is the only one left" and the "no more exist" things out there. The F3F is indeed a rare bird, but there are several of them and the one in Galveston Texas does really exist, I've seen it and I even have some pictures of it somewhere. Its a nice looking plane and given the musuem its at, I'd bet its even airworthy.

    Moritz- that SBD-2 that you mention is now fully restored and on display. My son and I saw it last year on a trip to the area. We actually touched a combat vereran of the Battle of Midway! Absolutley awe inspiring! Hope the museum is O.K., and that the area as a whole will recover soon...

    Ok guys good news!(I guess)

    Pensacola NAS received extensive damage but the museum is scheduled to re-open in a couple weeks I heard on the local news Ive seen pictures of the museum and it didnt appear to have any internal damage(I may be wrong)just a few exterior issues.
