If you don't get at least gold+silver, it actually gives less shoes than the Convict Chase for me... and costs twice the Bucks, with 2 fewer occuring in a day since it's only every 5 hours.

I stand corrected, I think. Everything above is true, except that now that I have run a few more of this weeks new event, I seem to be able to get gold almost all the time (they must me very selective on the tracks they use, or I am being lucky at the moment). That means I make 300 each pass, which is a definite improvement if you are using gems to get extra passes per day (which nullifies the 5-hour delay aspect too).

Same here, a wife and a child and a job of course
But i play in the mornings and in the evenings when they are asleep.

The event now comes down to few tracks every few hours.
Every 5 hours I need to play 4 tracks to get these shoes. Which wont take me more than 15 minutes.

Yeah, forgot my job

But yeah, some arrangements are needed to get "enough" time... I don't have time at mornings, but lunch break is used for some trials and also traveling to work is useful time. Usually with wife at evenings, but still manage to play some, without a grympy face from the wife...

I'm in the same boat, but when this event launched I was out of town on business for a few weeks. So I was cooped up in a hotel with plenty of free time. Hopefully week 4 allows for quicker collecting without as many Bronco Bucks.

I will most defenitely not get the 50.000 shoes before the end of the event. I do not have a lot of free time. The most free time I have is in the weekend, but even then I won't get more than 2000 shoes. I have better things to do than to babysit my phone and wait until it's time to collect more Horseshoes.

Oh well, guess I will have to stock up my pile of gems so I can get Stallion Blueprints in the future.

Yeah, the LB for Vagrant Camp is, last time I checked, completely messed up. For me it shows 93 friends have it, while there are only 5 people on the global leaderboard. What a joke!
