It still needs some minor adjustments, like the paint rubbed off at the elbows. I'm planning to do all the mercs like this. Should I also give them camo uniforms?
    Let me know.

    WOW!!

Fragger...That looks amazing, yes I think you should make their uniforms camo, just so it looks like their skin and outfit match up.

    i can't wait till it's done!!

    Cheers

Sweet, it kinda reminds me of Arnold from Commando.

Looks great. The shinyness on the arms is a bit much though.

Yea, the shinyness makes it look like frog skin or something. Damn PolyBump.

Polybump is not what creates the shininess. That's the specular map's job.

    Fragger:
Not bad, but the camo paint doesn't look all too convincing. For one, I'd be hard-pressed to get soft edges when I apply my camo paint. Also, why'd you leave his nose exposed?

I did it (smooth edges, nose uncovered) because I'm thinking they have been wearing that for a while, so sweat has taken care of smoothing out the edges and your hands have taken care of removing the paint from your nose. I didn't want them looking as if they had applied the paint a minute ago. I tried to expose the elbows too, but they're right on the seam and aligning the texture would have taken a long time and wouldn't have looked good anyway.

I toned down the shininess. I was going to eliminate it completely, but it looked too dull.

I also have this one, where the decal on the shirt shines like vinil:
