Still no reply from UbiSoft for me either, a Windows 10 compatibility check says that Farcry 4 is an "Incompatible program" which seems to explain why Ubisoft Support aren't replying. There's nothing they can do, or more accurately nothing they want to doOriginally Posted by dustinb6 Go to original post

8 gig of kingston DDR 2 / 800 ram @ stock (4 / 2 gig dimms in matched sets )
Asus Strix GTX 960 2 gig model with latest Nvidia driver version 355.98
24 inch Acer Monitor (1920 X 1080 native resolution)
secondary screen = Seki 40 inch 1080 P HDTV sitting next to my desk on a swivel base
Creative Labs Sound Blaster Live 24 bit PCI sound card i scrapped out of an old Dell machine since the realtek onboard sound on my motherboard sounded like hell
did a clean install of windows 10 Pro 64 bit on 2 PNY 240 gig ssd drives
C: has the u play client on it along with my Windows install
D: my optical DVD burner drive
E: has my games on it (steam)
F: my external Western digital 500 gig drives with more games and applications on connected via USB
G: additional USB thumb drive (8 gig or 16 gig )
i set both Steam and the Uplay client to Run As Administrator (this may be a step you need to do )
i also have no programs auto starting with Windows 10 other then my Antivirus (avast)
additionally i shut off all the live tiles in windows 10 and installed Classic Shell
*note you have to open the X box APP to totally shut it off in the settings in the APP*
and of course ubisoft will say that windows 10 is not a currently supported operating system for the game as the game shipped before windows 10 did
have any of you guys tried to just reinstall uplay in case your version of the client is missing files or did not update properly ?
DO NOT UNINSTALL THE U PLAY CLIENT IF YOUR GAMES ARE VIA U PLAY ONLY .. UNINSTALLING THE CLIENT MAY TAKE OUT THE GAMES WITH IT AND YOU WILL HAVE TO RE DOWNLOAD THEM AGAIN
simply download the u play client and reinstall it over your existing install to see if this fixes it
you can get it here where it says download u play on PC https://uplay.ubi.com (look to the bottom of the page)
also if Support is not answering your tickets try to call them on the phone................. i provided contact info and support hours info in my previous posts
also when i installed my graphics drivers i did not install Geforce experience as it sucks resources and i prefer to set up my games MY WAY
or the 3 d vision portion of the drivers (these tend to blur text my desktop due to windows 10 scales things differently then windows 7 or 8 did .. Microsoft has to fix this issue with the next release of Windows 10 threshold in November 2015 )
only the drivers for video + PhysX and HDMI sound in case i wanna use my 40 in HDTV screen for a movie
you mean the in game overlay setting in the uplay client right ?Originally Posted by AlanBourdillion Go to original post
Had the same problem. Last played a month or so ago and about 200+ hours before that. Went to Uplay's home page, clicked on FC4 and hit play. Got the loading screen with the rotating balls in the lower right corner and nothing after that...........after trying a bunch of things but thankfully not a reinstall...........FOUND A SOLUTION.............went to the programming files on my computer........."C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\FarCry 4\bin\FarCry4.exe"................and started the program from there. Worked like a charm. Started right up like it always did. Put a short cut on my desktop. Might be wrong but I think the problem has something to do with UPlay updating their site over the last month or so. Would bet that some of the hot keys are sending the wrong signal for some people. I now have 2 short cuts for FC4. One is what I have shown above and the other has a WEB Document (uplay://launch/420) in the properties instead of a shortcut tab. Think this the problem somehow.
just delete the .sav files in the folder here - then start a new game (first menu screen):Originally Posted by auxl1975 Go to original post
