    Doeth! Maybe a Jab sub was spotted near Atlantic City. Maybe the Jab sub was sent to blow up an amusement park but the Dauntlesses were scrambled to blow the sub.

    The Dauntless's are SBD-5's of VMS-3. VMS-3 patrolled the Carribean at least until May of 1944. The Dauntless's are painted in the low visibility gray over white scheme common to Atlantic anti-submarine aircraft.
