It would be options. You could play the raw version, I could play the Super Mario version. How hard is it for them to silence offensive words, turn off blood and change color to be color-blind friendly? It's more harder to convince the creative controller of Far Cry (which might be someone like you) to give players these accessibility options.

It's rated M for a reason, if those words offfend you maybe don't buy games that are rated M. It says right on the game that it contains strong language and violence.

Far Cry 4 was so nearly perfect, it physically pains me. Ubi just had to do two simple things, and the game would have been GoTY.

And those two simple things are: An option to turn off ALL button prompts. An option to holster weapon.

What's wrong with giving us the options? And since it's rated M, there's more reason to give us the options to make it less offensive. All of Treyarch's mature rated Call of Duty at least up to Black Ops II has that option. It should be a standard feature like subtitles and color-blind mode.

The language filter request is being ignored, is it?

Awesome thread, I hope the devs take their time to see what's written in here!

    1. How about some realistic engagement distances, seems like since FC3, the furthest distance you can engage from is around 100-150 meters. And at that distsnce your bow and arrow will do just as much as the larger calibre sniper rifles. Lugging around a slow repeating sniper rifle sort of loses it's point then!

    2. Bring back the real time map from FC2, the best map I've seen in an FPS.

    3. Scale down the amount of animal attacks (a bit over the top at the moment), and make hunting a bit more realistic, one clean head shot from a 7,62 rifle should take down anything but really large game.

    4. I think someone might've already mentioned it but, improve the grappling hook, let us use it wherever we want rather than just in set spots.

That's all I can think of at the moment, thanks for a great thread! // Matt

I really love the Far Cry series, even more with every new game that comes out. But there are some painful things still holding it back, one being the most annoyingly done feature in a game I've had to deal with: the inventory system.

    - We NEED a player-friendly inventory and looting system. Let us access our inventory easier and sort our stuff, without such silly item limits - and ditch the currency limit altogether.

    I'd also like to see:

    - Larger variety of weapons, and weapon attachments. A system similar to MGS:V's in this regard would be amazing for Far Cry.

    - A 'personal' vehicle, spawn-able from any safehouse, that we can upgrade for better defensive/offensive capability. Add armour plating, change paint, add/remove/swap mounted gun, etc...

    - The ability to upgrade the player's faction, safehouses and outposts, by investing money for better weapons, better vehicles, even recruitment, to improve fighting ability and give a stronger presence in liberated regions.

    - I'd like to see changes in the world after the main story is complete. Liberated areas shouldn't still have enemy patrols, etc once the enemy faction has been defeated. When that super evil overlord no longer has his hands around the throats of the people, things shouldn't just go on as they always have. The whole damn country has been freed so I want to see the effects of that.

    - Option to siding with the 'enemy' (branching off with a full alternate storyline) would be awesome and give the game a lot of replay-ability.

    Dinosaurs

I want dinosaurs ,enough with tigers ,elephants, yaks and mammoths . If FC 5 would create a scary but awesome adventure introducing dinosaurs instead of common animals like on the third and fourth games I don't see how people couldn't buy that instantly . Already other companies are ahead of the rest delivering plenty of fun using dinosaurs as the main attraction but here we are still on the ice age , pretending a mammoth can be better than a T-rex......pffff any dinosaur would be great besides the classic T-rex and raptors a megalodon or a mosasaurus would be a terrifying encounter to live
