Why is the bunker leagend only for top ranked players ?
You can unlock each and every track map even if you are average player(from the cave to villainous hideout) but for being a legend either you need high skills or many tickets(0 to hero).
I think just 2 changes in the format can make many more legends or closer to becoming one.
    1.use of golden ticket 1/5miniute
2.in showdown the -1 star from the level and winstreak bonus star both can be removed.
That means to achieve leagend I have to win 60 of my 90 showdown.

I usually can't nail it on my first few runs, I have to get into a groove and work towards it. My times on most tracks in the game are top 25, even top 10 on a lot of them, that doesn't mean it didn't take me countless tries to achieve them though. Sure, once in a while I will get lucky, in fact, I did nail a sub-16 on the Grindhouse on the first try in the bunker once, nailed the swing skip and everything. Stuff like that happens too. Some people play differently than others, no need to call them names.

I personally would rather have everyone be able to use as many tries as possible, or have everyone be able to only use the same amount of tries (example, 10). And pay-to-win? Maybe, but I still haven't paid a cent. Just play a lot and grind it out.

Also, just one more thing. Your last line says you are rank 1 but "unlimited ticket legends" are keeping you out. Well that's too bad because most of us used to help players into legends but maybe you just got unlucky. If you get matched up with the right player they will just let you win, maybe if you let them have one track and you keep 2.
i know one that let me win 2 days ago and he can beat me easily if he wants and he is "carteclem7" and many other players and i have total respect for them , i m talking about "unlimited golden ticket" players because there is huge different between 3 tries and 100 tries , i will tell u an example with 3 tickets i was able to do around 16.500 in "grindhouse" but my personal best is 15.300 in the track , and that happened in the last showdown...when u see someone spending 100+ tickets to do 16.100 i know that if i would be able to spend 100 tickets i would do around 15.500 but i dont , so i have 3 tickets to do less than 16.100 , it s ridiculous...so yes "pay-to-win" game totally' and i m not mad with the players actually but because i see that redlynx is going to make the game "paytowin" with all the changes, i remember i was able to give tickets and take tickets from each friend every 24 hours , now it s total max 10 gifts per day including fuel so 3-4 tickets per day no matter how many uplay friends you have , also the 3 instead of 5 tickets and the previous season blitz shows that redlynx making the game "paytowin" and i believe u agree with that.....and about the word "noob" actually it s not the same with newbie cause if i start for example "world of warcraft" account now and i am level 1 means i am newbie ( new player) and doesnt have negative meaning....noob is a term using for someone that can be max level experienced player but playing bad or unfair ...."noob" has negative meaning but "newbie" not

    Have patience
In these situations what I do is I go to the map practice the track till I perfect it and then go to the showdown track.

Even in the current season rules, you can check your game every couple of hours and get around 30 free tickets over the life of your showdown. That means you have 10 free chances per track to set a good time. Honest, that should be enough to put in a respectable time for a top player, and you havent spent any hard-earned tickets yet. Just save those for when you really need it. . . which if you are playing high rank against other top 200 players WILL happen.
i mean, thats a tad misleading 10 x 2 hours ("every couple hours) = 20 hours. i think most people like to sleep 8 hours a night. Knock it it 8 tries means you cant miss any 2 hour window or you get less. Most people work and have many times where they are busy for a few to many hours at a time.

I would say people can get 4-5 free tries for track with a normal effort. Maybe 10 if they are able to dilligently check the game every 30 minutes.

Not some huge difference from 5 tickets, but your schedule is just a bit off.

I guess the math phrasing is a little casual but the 30 tickets are available; you start with 3 and get 1 each 30 min. .... Sleep a nice 8 hours and you have 16 hours to earn 32 tickets. Thats 35 free tickets, more than 10 per track. Or 27 if you only check every 2 hours over those 16. Or as low as 15 if you only check every 4 hours on average.

Depends how dedicated you are willing to be, of course; I find I tend to be closer to 27 tickets myself but my job permits 15 min breaks any time. (software designer). More thanenough for playing a round through my 3 daily showdowns. Works for me.

Any way you look at it though.... nobody who is trying is seriously playing showdowns with 3 tickets, and thats my main point.

I think I have decided to not go for it this season, but I could still change my mind in a few days and rocketship. Meh, I just have no more will to do it.
