How has it been for those of you who have played? I am still contemplating whether or not I want to continue going for legends and with only a week or so left I would have to start soon unless I go ahead and rocketship to the top wasting my precious tickets.
Is it still pretty active? Does it feel any different than previous "regular" seasons? Do all the old rules still apply, such as free ticket amount (5), regen time (30 min), max showdowns (50)?
Honestly I don't know if I want to bother, just wanted to see what you guys think. I am down a bit on tickets and I'd kinda rather save them in case there are better prizes in the future. Or what I'd really like is for the gift box to be how it used to be and we could help each other out again.
It's the hardest bunker season for sure.
3 free tickets which regenerate after 30 min.,its feels more like a season for people who have downloaded the game recently with agent update(bike parts as reward).New showdown 15 tickets.
1 question I would like to ask to all legends
For leagend status do we have to go from 0 to hero or are there any legends who have played 3 showdown a day for 30 days and achieved it.
I am not able and capable of achieving it with 3 showdown daily.
How have all the multi legends achieved it,as they are all able and capable of doing it.
this sh1t is turning into "pay-to-win" game with all these changes in showdowns , i have seen many "unlimited golden ticket" noobs in the Bunker , and i m not using the term "noob" for someone that does a bad time with 3 tickets but for someone that does a great time after spending 100 tickets in 10 minutes...i have seen many players that doing a top#20 time though in tracks with 2-3 tickets , total respect for them....but all these 100 tickets per track guys just pathetic....they should do something so the game will be "the best win" and not "the one with the most tickets win" and they should put a "penalty time" after using an amount of golden tickets, for example after using 10 golden tickets u will get a message "retry in 10 minutes" or something so the ridicoulus amount of golden tickets players will have to wait to use other 10 tickets.....but at the moment the showdowns are totally "the one with the most golden tickets win"
I have done legend both ways, zero-to hero 4 times I think? And the other 6 were regular. The first 2, 3 blitz, and another one in between blitzes 1 and 2. Both ways have their merits.
I think it is totally wrong to blame players with vast amount of tickets, as the format of the game allowed it.my main concern was can any player achieve legend with 90 showdown in a season with 10 tickets daily?Originally Posted by argirisargiroul Go to original post
I have done legend every season (except last one in order to protest) with the second method.Originally Posted by sanymas Go to original post
Never tried the zero to hero method which doesnt look fun in my opinion.
My gift box has been broken for so long i am currently playing with an empty gift box, i'm only playing with the free showdown tickets and the few ones i get everyday.
It is totally doable to go legend the normal way, the hard part is to pass the 4 to legend levels.
I just play my 3 PVP a day and generally get into legends a week before the end of a monthly season
You are super human.Salute you for this.Originally Posted by Sl1mboy84 Go to original post
For me level 5 or at the most 4 level is the limit.
of course game allows it man , that s why i said they turned the game into "pay-to-win" game....i dont blame them i just call them "noobs" cause the only reason to spend 100 tickets to pass a track is because someone finds it extremely difficult to pass a time that someone did with 3 tickets and he knows that he has no chance to pass it if he spend the same amount of tickets with the opponent....and the fact that all these players always have a worse personal best than me proves i m right...it s not a coincidence that all the players that have better personal best than me just use 3 tickets and wait to try again later because they know they can pass the time with just 3 tickets so they dont spamming golden tickets...and if u ask me then why u dont pass them again with 3 tickets the answer is simple , cause they always spamming the golden tickets 30 minutes before the showdown is over and it s impossible to reach my personal bests in the bunker , for example try to do 15,300 time in "the grindhouse" with 3 tickets , it s not possible , or 19.900 in "the quagmire" with 3 tickets , but if i was trying the track 100 times of course i would do it....and about the question u did , yes it s very possible to reach legend with 3 showdowns per day, just imagine that after the 3 first wins that is 4 stars , the next 3 wins will give you 6 stars so you raise your rank too fast , 30 days is a long time but u should achieve win streaks...at the moment i am rank 1 and 4 stars and not legend thanks to the "unlimited golden tickets" opponentsOriginally Posted by sanymas Go to original post
"noob" is short for "newbie" so I don't really see how that applies. I usually have to use a ton of tickets on tracks if I am playing against another top player, even though I am quite good myself. It's just how I play. I usually can't nail it on my first few runs, I have to get into a groove and work towards it. My times on most tracks in the game are top 25, even top 10 on a lot of them, that doesn't mean it didn't take me countless tries to achieve them though. Sure, once in a while I will get lucky, in fact, I did nail a sub-16 on the Grindhouse on the first try in the bunker once, nailed the swing skip and everything. Stuff like that happens too. Some people play differently than others, no need to call them names.Originally Posted by argirisargiroul Go to original post
I personally would rather have everyone be able to use as many tries as possible, or have everyone be able to only use the same amount of tries (example, 10). And pay-to-win? Maybe, but I still haven't paid a cent. Just play a lot and grind it out.
Also, just one more thing. Your last line says you are rank 1 but "unlimited ticket legends" are keeping you out. Well that's too bad because most of us used to help players into legends but maybe you just got unlucky. If you get matched up with the right player they will just let you win, maybe if you let them have one track and you keep 2.
Fought my way to Legends a few times...took the rocketship a couple of times... doesnt matter. I can do it if I want to, but I rarely want to these days; prefer to concentrate on LB, and other aspects. PVP isnt my "thing". I only played Bunker to earn chips, and since I got all tracks+Donkey about 5 seasons ago. . . I dont see a reason to continue to be a "lab rat" and fight my way through RLs Maze of the Month ("ooh, lets see if they will still play with 2 week season, 10min showdowns, and no tickets... maybe next time we can have them do it with one hand tied behind their back")
These days I just play casual.. get to rank 11 (or whatever is a nice cutoff to getting some gems+chips with least effort) and stay there. At that level, I rarely play my opponent, actually; I am just playing to meet my own standards and it beats the other guy. (the other day I spent 5 tickets just because I hadnt hit all the shortcuts decently on Trojan 12 hours into the showdown, and it pissed me off)
I dont see a need to talk about "3 tickets" doing anything. Even in the current season rules, you can check your game every couple of hours and get around 30 free tickets over the life of your showdown. That means you have 10 free chances per track to set a good time. Honest, that should be enough to put in a respectable time for a top player, and you havent spent any hard-earned tickets yet. Just save those for when you really need it. . . which if you are playing high rank against other top 200 players WILL happen.
As for the guys with tickets to burn... I now enjoy playing them (although its rare these days for me; I only get one every couple of seasons at my chosen rank). They get NOTHING for Legends. If someone is spending money for tickets to win or reach Legends they are fools. Its part of the fun to find ways to make them spend tickets; I do like to watch them fly.
PS: Besides trying to meet personal goals on tracks, I do spend tickets for convenience. I like my stash, but if I am going to be in an all-day meeting, I want to be able to play as much as I want in my few short breaks I get, since I am not getting to use my free tickets as much as I normally would...thats what the ticket stash if for, IMO... to give me fun when I want it.
