Personally I think the takedown system in FC should be totally blown out to be a huge part of the game. Its really one of my favorite aspects of the series since they added them. I think it'd be cool if every weapon type had a specific takedown and all types of movement had contextual takedowns. Imagine sprinting toward an enemy, initiating a slide and having a sliding takedown maneuver to take him out with. Obviously if you're doing a takedown with a shotgun it may not be silent, but thats the trade-off for using that particular takedown. They could make it so that maybe specific types of takedowns are more effective on certain enemy classes (shotgun takedown could take out a heavy). I dunno, just something I've thought about. What about you guys? (if anyone is still here that is, forums been dead for some time it seems)
HorTyS I like some of the Takedowns in FC3 / FC4 but there are a lot and some that we learn later in the game we don't get to use very much so maybe have a different route where chosing a character can lock a specific set like you mentioned - Say like FC2 with the Sabotur weapon class but have this choice moving quieter and faster than other classes and also using all silenced weapons with a set of Takedowns to go with it - downside easier to kill but likhter and faster.
Heavy gunner could be more of a bullet sponge and slower when moving but has superior firepower and a different set of Takedowns - that kind of thing would be great especially if they do the SP Campaign maybe allowing up to 4 players like Halo 5 is doing.
GRAW2ROBZ what yopu said is what we have all been wanting with MP since FC2 but how do we get them to listen.
For me with the Single Player Campaign I want to be able to go Prone, I think they should bring this back, it seems crazy that we can't sneak along the floor and creep up on people - I also want SP Modifiers so we can turn off that crappy see enemies through walls and stuff.
For the Editor first I want one that works properly not like the FC4 one on console that has way too many issues, And want the FC2 / FC3 / FC4 Assets as DLC and the option to Lock a published map as well as deleting one if we wish to delete it.
MP I want Modifiers so that if I can speed up the pace of the game by maybe selecting players and vehicles to move 25% quicker, want players to possibly start with the same weapon and get better weapons by finding them in the map - having the map locked with those options would mean that the map I create would get played the way I intended it to be played - Modifiers are the way forward in my opinion.
