We haven't seen any of their music in Rocksmith since November 2012 so I think it's time for them to return.
    I'm hoping for Clutch

    Some Roky Erickson, yes please.

Something truly new could be some more originals from the Rocksmith team. I could use some more Brian McCune for sure!

Saddle Creek Records in Omaha has good artists. For Alt-Rock, maybe its the Desaparecidos

I'm sorry, what? There are plenty of big names in Rocksmith: Queen, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Skynyrd, Boston. The list goes on. Just because your favorite big name band isn't in the game does not mean that Ubisoft hasn't tried. Licensing is the biggest hurdle they face when it comes to games like this, if a band does not want to get on board, then guess what, Ubisoft is stuck.

I'm thinking the trip back to the 1960s could either be a band from the 1960s or something like 'Summer of '69,' which someone already mentions. It makes sense either way, but when I read that I immediately thought of a flashback to a period of time in the 1960s.
