I really get the feeling that with total focus shifting towards Pacific Fighter and BoB, This might be the last patch for FMs/Dms for the FB line, except a few add-on planes perhaps this summer.

Perhaps Oleg is just making absolutely sure that everything is right. This would be logical since he is not under any timeline/contractual restraints from UBI to produce a patch.

So, the delay is really good news and bad news. The bad news being that we are still waiting for some annoying bugs to be erased (Like the friggin 190 magic bullet revi destroyer!!!!!). The good news is that the longer it takes, the better I feel about things being fixed once and for all!

But since I am an inpatient person... Where is my patch!?!

How about a little patience all round, I'd rather have a patch that had some thought and a little testing to ensure it's right. Better this than folks on this forum pressurizing the developers and then ending with something that gives us more gripes and moans. Need I mention CFS 3 a classic example of something that was released sooner than it should have been.

I agree, I'm not asking for it to be rushed - but a progress report and ETA would be nice.

I'm looking forward to some of the impending positive changes to many things, but The thing I'm really waiting for is the dedicated server for it. This is more important to me than even...say...the 50 cal dispersion correction!

I dont think it's so much of wanting new planes, as a fix for some of the oddities already observed in the game. Like the game start bug that causes planes to crash into each other in coops. Or the "Dont breath too hard or you will lose your gunsight" FW190 bug. Or the, engine dead Me 163 bug. Or the compression 80-100 MPH sooner than it should P38 bug.

Quite frankly, some of these are so glaring that I wonder how they made it past the beta testers.

Subtle DM/FM changes should take a long time as more data pours in on aircraft to Oleg. But some of these are a product of inadequate testing. I am sure UBI has a huge piece in this puzzle, as the over-demanding producer of this otherwise superior sim.

I wonder how much more complete this sim would be if Oleg had signed with a different company.

In any event, I can wait. But as an avid 190 flyer, I really get sick of the bugs in that DM. I joke about it continuously, but it is truly annoying.
