Hello Everyone! I've made quite a few maps ...with pretty good success. I try to make every map a little better than the one before. Not always successful according to ratings. Anyway ... I would appreciate some feedback on how to improve my maps, suggestions or even requests. I think every time I finish a map "this is my last one". But I get an idea and here I go again. Retired a few months ago so I have time. I spend 30 to 40 hours on each one. Please ...anyone

Why in the world do people download a popular map, change only the load-outs, and re-upload? It's pointless. It just clutters up the placed with duplicates of the same thing. I don't mind it when they do it to a so-so map, make major improvements. Just too lazy to make their own maps I guess or the only way to see there name up there
Hey everyone.
Thanks for the feedback. We understand that it can be really frustrating when you make a kick *** map (which I know a lot of you can do), only to see it copied. As AW LOST SOLDIER said, you can take it as a complement that someone saw your map as being so good, that they wanted to take it for themselves.
At the moment, there's not a massive amount that can be done to alleviate this issue, but we are well aware that it happens.
We're looking at updating the best maps that have been created on our servers soon, and we're here to help promote your fantastic work.
Keep it up!
Thanks.
Hi AKAfootloose,
Today I tried Rogue Rebel! and Recon Ridge and I was impressed by the amount of thought and detail that had gone into both, especially considering you make them with 3-7 days. The amount of little objects you put in, little touches like secret entrances and shop keepers are really nice to see. Very well made, not often to see.
You also get the gameplay varied and challenging which is good too. You made me realise you can go well over the limit of AIs and it the game still copes fine. My ICE MANA VALLEY could have done with a lot more AIs, but I didn't know this before. You have many ways to approach each scenario which is like the campaign and how Far Cry should be. Overall they're a lot of fun and make you think how to tackle each scenerio.
I'll give more of your maps a go when i get the chance.
Thanks Magadite ...Nice to see at least one person has noticed the hard work I've done. A far as AI's, my rule of thumb is one AI per building and a few others in key locations. Sometimes with all the detail it's hard to stay within the object budget but you won't find any red warnings in my map validation, including the mesh. I think most people play my maps and never even go in the buildings. So sometimes I force them with game play(AI trapped inside). Try "Go Ahead-Make My Day". I thought it was my best work yet but it only got 4 stars. I was heart broken...LOL. I don't know what was disliked about it but has to be something.

Just what do you mean with an update? Separate section? I've seen several other posts that the "FEATURED" had been updated. Looks the same to me. 90% are "Ubisoft" made last year. BTW .. just who is "Ubisoft" anyway.
Maps will never be lockable. One of the hints on the loading screen suggests opening up others' maps to see how it was made.
Changing loadouts is O.K. to me if the map didn't have all of the weapons in a pile at the start. I prefer the bow but if not I'll try to do it blade/knives only.
There might also be subtle changes like enemy layout/spawning or small bug fixes such as rope points.
