    Reinstall/Move installation

I'm sure that this question was asked, and I googled it and found some answers...but I want to be sure:

I want to move the FC4 installation (uPlay, not Steam)to a new SSD drive. Assuming I backup the savegame (the 420 folder under C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\14a...), can I uninstall the game and then reinstall it in the new drive? If I have a cloud sync, do I need to restore the savegame backup?

    Thanks.

To prevent re-downloading the game do this:
    1) backup the complete Ubisoft game folder if it is on the same partition/drive
    2) backup uplay (game launcher)
    3) download uplay installer (exe)

    then after installing the SSD:

    1) install uplay
    2) restore FC4 backup to its original location
    3) restore uplay/overwrite from backup

after all this is done login to uplay and FC4 should be there (but needs download) - however, you can point uplay to the game files and let it Verify Files .. once done it's playable again. If you have played with cloud sync on the game should be back as before.
