Building a PC can definitely be more expensive than a console. HOWEVER.. if you get a good, big tower, then you can upgrade and replace pieces in a way you can't do with console. So... in a way it evens out.

Haha that's kind of the point of the thread.

I've only got an xbox 360 at the moment, so I'm trying gather as much information as possible, ready to build my first PC (hopefully later this year) so that I can play proper games / games properly!
