Buying a Ghost Recon Website | Forums

Hi

A developer friend of mine is anticipating that this game will be BIG and as such is going to start a community forum / news site, related to everything Wildlands.

After searching, we can see that www.ghostrecon-wildlands.com is up for sale through GoDaddy auctions for around £400, which is relatively cheap.

A few things here.

1. Why does this not already belong to UBIsoft?

2. A search engine would optimise this just for the name would it not?

3. Does the name have to be directly related to it?

4. Is this game likely to be as big as the likes of COD / Battlefield?

5. Has anything been released that details what the multiplayer forums / lobbies look like? I remember Ghost recon from old and the old servers used to have lobbies to sit in and chat whilst everyone 'readied up'. Do we know what this looks like yet and are they only dedicated servers?

Better move quick its up to 600 bucks now and only going to go up in price because the owner im sure is a domain troll and will keep raising the price every so often as we get closer to release im sure.

Because all new games of a serie still are in the main website.

Those website are just updated for the new game.

Never buy domain names from auctions, it's a bad thing to do. It encourages domain name camping and trolling.
