So, I noticed this weeks Acorn tournament "Steam Machine" is labeled "Medium", but consists only of 4 hard tracks and 1 extreme?!? Pretty harsh for a lot of players... Also, for reaching top 5% in this tournament you get 150 Acorns, whereas the last "Hard" Tournament rewarded 300?
I don't understand it either.
There needs to be some solid way of figuring out what difficulty a tournament is, even a simple scoring would work
Beginner track = 1 point each , easy = 2, medium = 3, hard = 5, extreme = 10
Take each track difficulty that is contained in the tournament and add them up, set up boundaries e.g...
Beginner tournament = <=5 , easy tournament = < = 10 , medium < = 15 , hard = <= 25 , extreme >25
The fact a tournament containing 4 hard tracks and 1 extreme doesn't make any sense what so ever, surely the tournament difficulty should be saying 'people who can complete this difficulty on a track can complete this tournament' but if someone can only do medium then they won't be able to even complete the first track.
Even a tournament with a beginner and 2 hard tracks on evo was labelled a hard difficulty tournament?
I know this doesn't really matter as the difficulty isn't that important and what not but would be nice to have some solid way to figure out the difficulty of a tournament
Well, the hardest track is an Extreme, BUT it's also UGC (Pneumatic Requiem), maybe that's the problem?!Originally Posted by En0- Go to original post
This Acorn tournament was almost as difficult to zero fault as the unicorn tracks....
...almost as difficult.
I actually put in a good three hours today just to get in the top 5%. Haven't missed a week yet, been in the top 5% every time, and I haven't bought any Acorn packs. Currently have 1450 Acorns. 500 more to go...![]()
