    Bikes on The Awesome Adventure?

    Was just wondering if this is a possibility down the track (pun not intended)? I know I am asking to have my cake and eat it too, but it would add some replayability to those levels. They are really impressive pieces of work and it would be great to try them with other bikes/vehicles - at least the ones that can complete them. Just a request/suggestion.

    i think d2 that this has already been announced , dont quote me on it but im sure i heard somewhere that they do plan on opening the in game unicorn tracks to others bikes also , i think.

    Hi,

    In my mind, as we were removing the Awesome Adventure tracks from the global leaderboards, I was thinking to leave it that way and not add the other bikes. It's not really designed for other bikes:
    - Astral trip: the start area force doesn't work well with other bikes but the track can be completed with Roach and Pit Viper.
    - Role player: logic working only with unicorn.
    - Boss Battle: Can't make the first jump with Roach or Pit Viper.
    - Celestial Disturbance, The Void, Base Apollo: Can work with roach and pit viper but driving line not friendly and unicorn is probably faster.

    Thoughts?

    Also, there would be another problem. If we do that, we take the risk that a player who plays the Awesome Adventure for the first time would do it entirely without the Unicorn which is not the experience that was designed.

    We could implement something to allow changing bike only if the player has already completed the event but that will be really low in the priority compared to other tasks and that wouldn't be done.

    I am not sure that it would be a really good change overall.

    As long as the scoring is removed, then I say leave it with just the Unicorn. Its something new and different, learn it, you just MIGHT like it!

    Whatever you feel is best overall. From a selfish perspective, I'd like to ride them on a bike, because I'd appreciate the "tracks" more that way. I'm not thinking of speed running at all, but rather to admire the superb work on display.

    Since the tracks were basicly made for unicorn from ground up since it's the only "vehicle" and global scoring will be removed, I think keeping them way is fine in their own single player segment.

    Else they just become standard tracks again instead of specific adventure tracks that are different.

    However I wouldn't mind if they were converted to "bonus content" tracks on FusionCommunity where some parts of the tracks are slightly adjusted to be able to finish on at least the Pit Viper and/or Roach. And still require the applicable multiple DLCs.

    I can understand the bike enabling that was later done for the Quad tracks, as they are more "normal" tracks that didn't need adjustment, also they weren't DLC.

    I'd actually like to see more of the opposite. Make the Quad available on more non-quad tracks. Sure it can be included in user created tracks, but it would be nice to give it more purpose in the career mode even if it's just for a bit of fun. Just seems a shame to include a new vehicle only to lock it down to a very small subset of in-game tracks.
