Funk, just build for yourself, and maybe your mates and the people that appreciate your work. Anything else is a bonus. It's not about a 100% like ratio, that's never going to happen.

If your work is good enough (which from what I've seen, it is) you'll get your recognition. Do not worry about the negs. Even the best of the best get dislikes, not everyone has the same tastes. Some people like 'lol' or 'down the stairs' tracks for instance. Keep on keeping on, or as VEGAS suggests; take up Volleyball or Tennis, or something.

I took a small break and discovered Minecraft (PC 1.8.8), hadn't played it before this month really, but it turned a bit in an addiction instead of an addition to my games collection

But somehow it's really relaxing for me, playing solo, without any pressure, or real set goals, and time flies by (vanilla(no mods) Survival mode by the way)

Believe me bud if i didnt get like i had dementia after an hours exercise i would , i use to be a keen martial artist , went around the country in competitions but that was before. So believe me , i was and will be again a very active guy. Bloody frustrating not to be able to do stuff , so many ppl take things for granted , even as simple as swimming. I go swimming im out cold for 2 days , i guess this is one of the main reason i take this game fare more serious than i should.

Not only do you get the tossers disliking track for no reason , you also get ingnored by the game its self , seems there is no recongnition anywhere. track after track i share with this game ,11 tracks i have created dated back to what the last recommended. Seems they would rather ignore tracks in which was deemed a great build by one of the dev team yet not good enough to be crossed and they cross peoples track who dont even contribute to track central hardly.

They have killed my tracks , my latest dead meat has now 15 disslikes out of 160 likes this is ****ing stupid way to run a place where peoples time and effort are on the line. It would be ok if the game it self saw decent tracks and rewarded the people for them but they dont they choose what might suit thier moment. A dev said weeks back that a trac of mine was great and enjoyed the dl alot so why is not even this one being given any credit ? Nope just let the morons in tc kill strack , target people and the game also ignore it valued builders

well bollox to giving your track central decent tracks , enjoy ur junk , not wasting my time and effort building for these guys or ur game any longer , cant understand why a game alienates its better builders and gives tool to others so they can kill efforts.

My advice to Funk... Don't stop building, (as suggested by Mr Vegas) instead, just stop posting daily mega-rants. THIS is the primary reason people are downvoting your builds. It's becoming harder & harder to find a thread on these forums that isn't Funked-up lately, & you are rapidly becoming the most disruptive influence on these forums.

Funk, there's plenty of recognition for your tracks. They've been featured, by RedLynx, 5 times now. You are like the 10th highest featured builder.

I honestly do not understand what the issue is. At all. Not even a little bit. It's not called "funktastic's tracks", it's called Uplay Recommended, and for whatever reason, we didn't feature one of your tracks this week.

Not every track will, or should, be featured. Unfortunately you seem to still regard Uplay Recommended as a place where your tracks should always be showcased. That's not how it works. We select what we like, sometimes we aren't going to like that track you spent all that time on and it won't be put in Uplay Recommended. That's actually the typical occurrence for MOST builders. I don't know who you are trying to get to agree with you that you've been "ignored", because it's pretty obvious that you have not been.

Most builders have absolutely ZERO Uplay Recommended tracks, and you're seemingly upset that not all of yours are featured. Having every track you put out featured is not going to happen. If that's something that you can't deal with in accordance to the rules of the forum, then one of two things should happen;

a) Maybe don't visit the forums and complain every week about your latest track being overlooked. People don't like that, it looks really self-righteous and selfish.
b) Maybe building isn't for you. You make good tracks, but if you really need that attention every time you release a track, then you will be disappointed more often than not.

But I will tell you this; If I see another post where you literally call every other builder's efforts "junk" or "trash", or calling anyone names because you don't agree with their decisions, or go on a profanity laced rant... you'll be taking a vacation from the forums. It is utterly ridiculous that 4 out of 5 times when I post about Uplay Recommended when you don't have a track selected, then you blow up somewhere on the forum.

You don't need to state how the tracks are in TC, we can see it ourselves bud, other peoples tracks out in the feed are pretty good in my eyes, especially the extreme, still need to get a good run on that. Will come back to it later...

Your tracks may stand out dude, and you make some funky tracks too but some people are not going to like the line, you can't please everyone and not only that but if you keep crapping on the forums about oh these guys are down voting on purpose all the time, then you're going to get negativity towards you all the time.

If you think a track is worth going into the Uplay recommended list then post in that thread! There are other people out there that haven't had any recognition at all. Think yourself lucky. If your track didn't go in the feed, there must be a reason! How often do you try to break your track, or see something isn't right, watch other replys where you might have the difficulty set wrong or the lighting is wrong. Shadow casting or screen tear even. There could be something you're missing.

You really gotta stop. What do you need to be satisfied ? It's UNBELIEVABLE that you're upset with these things. Calling a track "killed" while it has over 90% likes... Just stop. All you're trying to do with your constant rant is to get more attention & recognition from the team. And that's absolutely not the best way to. You want to get your tracks highlighted more often ? Do better. Complaining will change things in the opposite way.

I agree with psykoz , with tracks in uplay recommended and some tracks with 90% likes you complain for NOTHING.
