It's pretty lame that you can't even race each track in the showdown once at the beginning without spending golden tickets. The way it is now forces you, as one of the above posts state, to babysit your phone waiting on the timer, watching the pot boil, watching paint dry yadda yadda yadda. Meh

I guess I'm lucky I'm playing two profiles which I start another match within 5 minutes of another. So far I'm not seeing a lot of competition or it's just because all the hardcore players are protesting this season. I still see a lot of people playing all 3 tracks right away. I only did that the the very first Blitz match as I wasn't aware of the rules at the time and I was also one of those that got bugged into a 24hr match with 1 ticket every 10 minutes but initially you still had 5 tickets to start. Generally I'll go through each track one at a time when the ticket regenerates after 10 minutes. The final run I'll wait until the last two minutes or so start and if I have at least one track won, I'll attempt to take over to minimize the amount of tickets spent. I probably spent less than 20 tickets so far this season and it's hardly made a dent into my 5000+ tickets.

If people are spending tons of tickets just to win a match then they can have it although there is satisfaction in winning a match without using a ticket or just using 1 or 2 extra tickets to win.
