Hello Trials community!
Some of you may remember me from a long time ago, and boy has it been some time!
Ive been thinking about returning to make some tracks but had some questions about the PC version.
Trials kinda fizzled out on the X360, and I stopped paying long before that. I reckon those who remain faithful to this game are playing on the next gen (or current gen now, oh how time flies). I decided against one of the new consoles and splashed out on a fancy computer so i could do other cool things besides play games. So I have some questions I hope to can answer for me.
1. Are there any sort of cross platform features? Leaderboards, TC, multiplayer etc.
2. Is the PC community active, or have all the vets gone to X1/PS4?
3. Would I be wasting my time with the PC version, considering that I'm interested in building? (assuming your answers to the above two questions are a no)
Looking forward to your responses!
1. No cross platform features besides the uplay recommended tracks every week that get crossplatformed (something like +5 tracks every week)
2. I wouldn't say the PC community is that active, but there are still people around. Multiplayer is kind of dead tough, at least at the times I check.
3. Depends who you build for. I build on PC even tough I haven't released any tracks for a while now but I'm still building. If your tracks are quality tracks they have a high chance of being crossplatformed I guess, because PC doesn't have that many great builders who are still active so it's easier to get noticed. From what I have seen, most quality tracks from PC get crossplatform eventually.
You can get the game very cheap for PC depending on where you buy it so I would say it's worth it anyway if you have a PC that can run it properly and don't want to waste money on a console. Wich I don't think is worth it just for one game..
I think the majority of people on this forum are former 360 users that moved to X1 or PS4, but there are definately still PC people around here, and in the game, myself included.
I do build on PC even tho due to having had some real life things going on I haven't released many tracks since early 2015, but I picked up my building track pace again recently (multiple works in progress I haven't released)
I also manage a youtube channel that has the main focus on PC community tracks, I have an update planned to release more videos for it.
I do notice activity is fairly low lately, always been less tracks/multiplayer then console I guess but there are still people playing.
I would love to see some new or more active builders again, that also release beginner to extremes, and not just ninja tracks.
It sure has been! Hope you're well, bud.Originally Posted by xMotionSickness Go to original post![]()

Hey Rudemod, long time no speak pal.
Well thanks for your answers fellas, it definitely helps me to come to a decision. I saw the game, plus season pass for like 15 quid. I've got plenty going on right now but i really fancy building again. Perhaps I will invest after all!
