Ubisoft - PROVE that you LISTEN & RESPECT PC Gamers - Release a FREE MP Alpha/Beta
I suggest that Ubisoft Release a FREE MP Alpha/Beta of GHOST RECON WILDLANDS in Nov 2015 on PC
with Keyboard and Mouse support , with FOV slider, with no music , no cutscenes, no single player , no in game footage
just TEST THE PURE MP FUNCTIONALITY of the game !
Please throw up the following regional servers for the game:-
North USA #1
North USA #2
South USA
EU#1
EU#2
Middle East
RU #1
RU #2
Asia #1
Asia #2
Asia #3
I don't mind playing with 130-155 lag on an Asia server to play test it ,
what I did NOT like with PC GRFS RETAIL was waiting AN GOD DAMM HOUR in the LOBBBY
to connect to a person in RU just for it get a host migration TWICE then an YETI ERROR
---------------------------------------------------
* Am I the only one sick and tired of buggy AAA GAMES
*Am I the only one sick and tired of the BS "excuses" Multi million software company's
give why large budget games are not correctly tested
Here is a way to TURN around your IMAGE ,
RELEASE THE FREE MP Alpha/BETA without having to pre order the game and without
needing to use uPLAY. Yes that is right everyone I know HATES uPlay, here is an novel idea ,
LISTEN to us gamers and release something on STEAM !!!!!!
Good luck...Originally Posted by tafedude Go to original post
A) You're a one man band - You can shout all you want. Ubisoft won't change without an army at it's gates.
B) It's expensive to run 11 massive servers. - Even "freebies" have to be paid for from somewhere.
C) You're right, overall uPlay doesn't have a great reputation; but steam doesn't work for consoles, so what then?
D) Server migration was down to the host, not Ubisoft directly. They tried to fix it. Give them a chance.
Your post is a little non sense, the others and I have been there and the games is still in dev and not ready for an alpha !
We didn't saw the multiplayer part cause it's still in dev. We just saw the coop cause it's part as the campaign since you can do it by yourself or inviting friends to play with you.
They are part of the same module !
They did......??? I beg to disagree. And I love GRFS!!Originally Posted by c-swain Go to original post

OK!
Don't forget to produce an alpha/beta is quite demanding! You have to allocate a lot of resources to produce an alpha/beta and make sure the build is stable enough, all this takes time away from the main build of the game.
I'm not saying never do it, but do it when it's at a good stage where it feels solid and the communities feedback will have significant impact on the game and it's not just a PR thing. It's still pre-alpha so it's not ready for the public to play it.
Well prior to the E3 hype model every AAA title used to put out a demo/beta and even demos for after the release to see if you liked the game and wanted to buy it. The fact is they could put out a single player/co-op 2 mission demo that would allow people to get a sneak peek into the game prior to release if they wanted too with no servers needed. They could even put out a 2 map multiplayer demo that players could host to get a feel for the game and use that for hype. The fact is though thats not the model anymore, they want to put out as little as possible but just enough to excite you and buy the game when released. The days of demo's and open beta's on a AAA title are sort of a thing in the past unfortunately. The funny thing is i bought the very first ghost recon in 2001 based on the demo they released a month before it hit stores because the demo was enough to make you want to get that game.
I know LOL. I guess my question should have been, "They tried...??" Personally, I don't think that could be considered trying. But it was a fun game, host migrations aside.Originally Posted by c-swain Go to original post
