Ipad screen broken...Need help
My ipad screen was broken beyond use about A week ago and I scrapped together some money to get A new screen from ebay...That screen was fine but the digitizer was junk and now i'm unable to play anything at all on my ipad...Is their A good place to get another ipad 3 screen that someone knows is A good reputable place with quality screens..I can do the repair myself but I'd like to hear from someone who has bought A new screen and it worked out good for them...Also their's A money problem too but for now I'd just like to know where A good place to get A good screen/digitizer from.
Side note..Can I use A crowd funding site to raise money for this...may seem crazy..but A new screen just isn't in my budget right now after the last one I got didn't work out. Is their one out their for personal stuff like this? It's killin me that I can't play trials right now.

Again, Sorry to hear that mate but I'd send them another E-Mail telling them that I want a replacement or refund (which-ever one you want) as it's your right to have the proper working part that you paid for, if not then you're entitled to your money back.....It's Basic / General Consumer Rights !!
If he refuses, then you can take it up with E-Bay and they'll sort it out and get your money back.....I had to do similar with E-Bay a while back, that's the good thing about buying on there as you're covered for things like this ok !?
Whatever you choose to do though mate, I hope you get your pad sorted so you can continue riding the frontier !!
Hope this Helps !!

The problem with that is...Ebay wants me to send back the screen first. And I don't like the fact that my nice shiny screen will be exposed during that entire process. But i'm going to start that process as I have no other option. Thx for the advice..Never thought about this really even though it should have been A no-brainer. I'll let you know how it all turns out..I hope to still be in the top 100 when this is all done.

You have nothing to worry about by sending them the screen back as E-Bay has insurance for situations like this to cover both parties, they'll find who-ever is at fault.....So you'll get sorted one way or another, either by the company or E-Bay, so you won't be out of pocket, just make sure you get either recorded delivery (if you want to pay for that) or proof of purchase when sending the screen back (just to cover yourself) then follow the steps that E-Bay tells you to do throughout the process and all will be ok !!
Worst case scenario.....If the company you bought from doesn't conform to their terms of service then they'll take action against them and possibly stop them trading on E-Bay all-together, then they'll send you your money back.....But most of the time they'll do just do what E-Bay says as they don't want to be blacklisted !!
I hope this gives you some peace-of-mind mate and I hope you get sorted soon !!

File a claim dude... your screen is not what the seller stated and is not performing like an OEM product... then again, you opted for aftermarket product/item.... ergo.. expect nuance and issues. Not all of them are as original, but you still have your rights!
I hope you will get this sorted!

I believe I read somewhere that apple doesn't sell OEM products..And if you found an apple product OEM on ebay the only way that is OEM is if it came off of another ipad..And after looking at apples website and how much it costs to replace anything out of warranty it's $300USD and they won't fix your ipad just send you one equal to what you had so that kinda makes sense. Anyone else know if I can get an OEM screen? because I think that's why I never looked for one in the first place.

Indeed, they don't sell but they repair, or most of the time they simply refurbish (repair and sell them later with some discount) their products.
Still, OEM = Original equipment manufacturer so... if someone sold you that, in any case it should be working perfect as a brand new one. If they sold you an aftermarket product, then you're in the grey zone atm. Nowadays, there's no moneys in repairing Apple stuff imo.
I consulted ipad screen insertions from this seller and they don't even state what their products are (OEM vs aftermarket) or where they got it from, so it defo is not an OEM product.
It all comes to EOM vs aftermarket and expectations - not that I'm defending them, but if you want the original thing, in the end, you have to go with the manufacturer.
