Hey guys I just have a question... right now I'm just using the MSFFB2 and keyboard but my friend says he has a saitek and never uses it. Since I don't think I could fly without force feedback is the throttle alone worth using? Also, I read that the throttle slides around when you move it around due to lack of good grips. If he does give it to me and I have that problem do any of you have solutions for it? Thanks.

I use this combo and it works great. I also have a set of CH rudder pedals and I think it's the perfect setup. The throttle has a screw for adjusting the friction and if setup properly it slides freely without the base moving. The only drawback is that you need to have the X45 stick plugged in to use the throttle but it's no problem I just store it out of the way under the desk.

The throttle can slide around - so I have a roll of heavy duty Duck tape and about once a week put a new strip over the base to stick it to my desk.
X45 + FF stick + pedals is the best setup I've found so far.

Or if possible set up your arrangement so the X45 stick is easily reached with your throttle hand.
It makes a great button bay. Map to your own tastes

I always have just enough fuel to arrive at the scene of my crash.

You'll love the combo tomorrow then
Stick as button bay in proximity to throttle works very well.
Especially the red button under that flap, mapped to eject
Combined with the MSFFB2 and CH pedals it rocks..(TIR is also very good with it
)
