    Minimum PC Specs

    Hi all,

    First post, long time lurker, just wondering as I have searched but the closet thing I can get is from a few years ago.

    I have just bought a new PC in order to get ready for this beast of a game, stats are below, I am wondering if I will be able to run this at maybe extreme settings or at 4k if supported;

    CPU: AMD FX-8370 8-Core 4.0GHz (4.3GHz Turbo)
    Motherboard: ASUS M5A99FX PRO R2.0
    Memory: 16GB PC-12800 1600MHz DDR3
    Hard Disk: 120GB SSD + 2000GB 7200RPM 6GB/s SATA3
    Optical Drive: Blu-ray Reader & Dual-Layer DVD+/-R Writer Combo Drive
    Graphics: AMD Radeon R9 390X (8GB)
    Audio: 8-Channel High Definition Audio CODEC
    Network: 1000Mbps Gigabit LAN

    I have pre-ordered the limited edition and am pretty excited to go hard

    At the risk of being completely and utterly wrong, I dare say that if your machine outclasses a PS4/XBox One you should have no issues.
    Yours... clearly does.

    Good point I didn't think of that, is there potential for 4k gaming though?

    Lmao
    I wish I was allowed to paste a pcmasterrace.png but yea, that I can't ._.

    @ZionD1zL
    I definitely think you are able to run on ultra settings and 1440p perhaps as well. 4k? I don't know unfortunately.
    Not much into ATI, rather Nvidia, but hey at least we have almost the same CPU ♥ (:

    So, I'd say, let's go hard

    I'm a console gamer and I'm not even mad!
    I just wish I could get enough money to buy a decent PC before this game comes out.
    I'm still stuck on the old Xbox 360

    The one thing you have to remember though with ATI is that the developers are going to be using GameWorks Technology in the game and requires Nvidia to use those features so you loose that unfortunately. I just hope that it doesn't hurt AYI users though as some games have had major issues with ATI cards because of this and had to be patched after release. I use bother intel/Nvidia and Intel/ATI so not a fanboy although i only use Nvidia for gaming simply because they work with more game developers, nice rig BTW!

    @ C-Swain - Id try and save up like 1200 bucks at most and build a nice little AMD rig on the cheap with a bad *** top end Nvidia card because the card is what matters most in gaming. The fact is the cheaper AMD cpu's are great paired with 16gb of memory and your ready to rock on some pc gaming. If you need any parts advice id be happy to help as im sure anyone else here would too so you can really get your moneys worth and the most out of the build.

    Thank you very much Lokiey!
    I'm going to start saving soon, but I've got some travelling on the cards which is going to eat away at my wallet in the meantime!

    Youll need atleast a PS4 or Xbox One to play Division with us though.

    Yeah, not mad either. I recognise the difference, and accept it. As a dad of 3 with a full time job, I just need something that runs now without having to check stuff, or replace stuff, or mess with stuff... I do that enough in my job already. PS4 fits the bill, despite the UX "drop". Maybe one day I'll get back into it...
    I just hope they don't pull a Far Cry "we want everyone to be equal!" but from the words of the dev I'm confident they're going to give PC the best it deserves.

    Almost OT question - would an SSD help TD on a PS4, you think?
