Let's hope that when the next DLC adds an event where you ride as a fat old man in a wheelchair it doesn't count towards the global leaderboard.

This only affects the core community, and we all know what the core community wants.

Well, I'll say this:

I consider myself to belong to the core community and I did enjoy the ...hilariousness (if that's a word) of the unicorn but i did NOT enjoy grinding the unicorn tracks, because of the way the unicorn handles and its randomness. BUT: I DID grind the unicorn tracks! It was a real pain and I was just about to throw my PS4 out the window, but I managed to get some good times on them and I think it's only right for them to be included in the leaderboard, otherwise all that frustration would have been for nothing.
Just my opinion...

Maybe if it would have been clear from the get go, that the unicorn tracks wouldn't affect the leaderboard, I would have approached them differently and would have had a lot more fun with them, but a lot of anger, frustration and sweat already went into those and I'm not the only one, so I say keep 'em in.

But... the poor mouth Eno? really?
If I may pitch an idea if ever RL decide to do another Allstar DLC feature,
Now I don't know what the Allstars were paid for their tracks on ALM, but the 1000 mark has been heard whistling through the trees,
x10 = 10k
Not to say those dudes didn't earn that grade for the work put in, absolutely they did!
But, if RL were to do this again...
How about a big track contest, Top prize 3k, 2nd= 2k, 3rd = 1k, and all other entries win hoodies, acorns and other likewise stuff,
It's a win/win, RL get to pick 10 of the best for the bargain price of half ALM, TC gets flooded with those outside the top10,
And most importantly to keep this on topic... 5k saved to pay the tech guy for a months work getting fully customizable leaderboards up n running

Obviously those numbers above are guesses, but you do see what I'm saying?
If there isn't a budget set aside for Leaderboards, then there should be,
Working leaderboards are what most (not all) people cling to trials for,
This includes casuals who love beating friends and its what gets them hooked,
We all stumbled across Trials casually and, bam, beat a friend = instant hook! It's what made Trials so popular in the first place, that hasn't changed, nor will it.
So I guess I'm trying to get at Prioritizing!
...Leaderboards is priority... Unicorns, not so much...
Even ask some random kid, "whats the best thing about the unicorn"? the answer will be "I get to beat 'whomever' on the Leaderboards"
So, If not for us Eno mate, please think of the kids, they deserve their own seperate unicorn leaderboard, and not mixed up in scores they can't compete with

Hey Ozy, I hope this doesn't offend you in any way xD My OCD kicked in when I saw you said builders earned 1k a track, that's 10k... so make a contest, top prize 3k, 2nd prize 2k, 3rd prize 1k, (which is 6k) and RL will save 5k, when it's 4k, I know this is completely pointless and there's no need for me to say any of this but, OCD is a killer :P I like your idea btw, track central flooded with lots of beast tracks + cheaper for redlynx is awesome for anyone.

Hi,

Just a quick message to repeat what has been said somewhere else (stream? I don't remember) that we were discussing internally what to do with this. However, it's not for the reason explained above. It's simply because the track/unicorn is not designed for speed running whereas the global leaderboard is for speed runners.

We'll make a decision in August but at the moment we identified 3 solutions:
- Do nothing because some riders already proved you can grind the leaderboard/speedrun it.
- Remove them from the global leaderboard (unlikely to happen, too complicated to reupdate all the scores of the global leaderboard)
- Allow other bikes on the tracks that can be completed with something else than the unicorn. (can't be done for all the tracks but some of them probably)

The next Title Update (TU11) will stop the unicorn tracks to update the global leaderboards. After the title update is live everywhere in the world, we'll do a maintenance that will gather the profiles of players having a score on the leaderboard of the first track of the awesome adventure. These profiles will see their global leaderboard recalculated without the "unicorn tracks".

This means none of the tracks of the Awesome Adventure will influence the global leaderboard.
