I think allowing any bike to be used on the track it should be possible just maybe force people to complete it with unicorn first if redlynx care about people using the unicorn im not sure.

Signed. It's an absolute joke. I understand the need to milk more cash out of this game by adding all this gimmicky nonsense to attract the casual players now Ubisoft are involved, and that it'll never be the game HD was. But keep all the weird ideas separate, or at least give the option to filter it out. Fusion has disappointed me at every turn, not even being as good or having the features from evo was a joke, and I got over the horrific ATV section, but this new unicorn thing is the final nail in the coffin for me. I cannot believe that it counts on the LB's.
It's a very sad day for trials for a lot of the players that have been around from the start and who thought they were playing a trials bike game.

With the direction Fusion has gone in, we'll be lucky if the next installment contains any two-wheeled motorcycles at all.

Highest ive ever been after a previous DLC was around 140, then after a couple days i usually settle to around 160ish. With this DLC I jumped to like 60 and after a couple days settled down to 80ish.

This is clearly highly abnormal. I was even later to this DLC than I usually am. The unicorn handles so terribly, and the courses arent designed with speedrunning in mind so alot of better riders arent able to spank me on the unicorn tracks like they are on the traditional trials tracks. Even just comparing my leaderboard ranking between the traditional trials tracks and the unicorn tracks in this DLC... im consistently ranked much higher on the unicorn tracks.

Either way its just my opinion, I consider the leaderboards laughable now, you dont have to agree with it.

i think what you are experiencing is a direct result of two things. one: some riders that were decent in the past are now inactive, and havent played the DLC at all. two: people like me (rank 5 on PC) played half the first unicorn track, couldnt stomach it, and havent finished any. in my case, im now fully removed from being competitive on the single player leaderboards, and my spot in the top 10 is up for grabs. on the x1, this occurrence would be even more noticeable with a larger player base

Please man, do it, before everyone is gone,
The casuals targeted by the new direction of trials may very well pay for future development,
But the core players awaiting the next installment will be seriously lacking by that time.
I hate coming on here and moaning but it's true, I and many others are witnessing it right now...

Only a really small part of the player base cares about the global leaderboard and the ones who really care will by the way buy the DLC (whatever is the design of the leaderboard... so saying it's to "milk the cow" is totally wrong and that was already explained 1 year ago when we shipped the first DLC).

I think it's better to implement something that helps a larger base of players (including the core community) rather than this feature which would be quite invisible for most of the players.

For the question about the Awesome Adventure, we'll make a decision when we're back from holidays in August.

I'm sure it wouldn't hurt UbiLynx's wallet if a single decent coder was put to the side to develop these leaderboards. I would hope it wouldn't take more than a couple of work days for that one coder to get those leaderboards up and running. The layout/template is already there. He or she wouldn't have to do any styling/formatting. I'm sure he or she would have basic mathematical skills, so he or she should be able to complete this in a couple days time.

There's no point in arguing anymore so I'll just say this:

The general community does not care what happens. This is not a issue to them and none of the solutions will affect them.

This only affects the core community, and we all know what the core community wants.

I've already got all platinum in the unicorn tracks but there real wonky and it seems like it has the same physics as the panda but worse lol.

If the roach and pit viper were allowed I say keep them in the GL

As a side note I also want to add that to get those medals was very frustrating and not fun at all.

ASAP..........I hav'nt touched the unicorn tracks and never will.even though I could use the 2+Million GLB points...one good thing is that i dont have to live with the shame !

I mean COME-ON.....its a "Trials" game after all.( Not ....Ride my little pony (unicorn).Please can we get back to some real Trial riding.

What about a unicorn only LB ? That will keep all the unicorn riders happy..

( I still think this is some kind of crazy dream but every day when i fire up my "Trials" game there is a funny looking horse looking at me. )
