Introduce the option to disable it from counting
I don't care so why am I voting?
This is a valid point, absolutely,Originally Posted by xXJ4cK1EBXx Go to original post
But what happened to Trials being about a Trials bike,
Unicorn Fusion is not the game I bought or ATV Fusion for that matter,
Trials = bike, Options are great but... TRIALS!
Well, that was easy. So why did Redlynx ever include them in the first place?Originally Posted by En0- Go to original post
For the people who already grinded these tracks, we are not taking away their records. If people enjoy these tracks, then they are free to compete on them individually just as with skill games and FMX. If they do not enjoy these tracks but grinded them begrudgingly, I doubt they will mind if they are taken off the global leaderboard, but I'd like to hear what they have to say.
This is not at all a valid point. Hard and extreme tracks are designed for speedrunning, while the unicorn tracks are not. It's as simple as that.Originally Posted by ozy Go to original post
This would be the best solution and should not be unlikely, given that it was done with no problems in Trials HD and Trials Evolution. But I realize now that this is just a tactic to force money out of their fans. Redlynx learned this technique from their F2P game. "Oh, you want to keep competing? $10 please!" Please prove me wrong Redlynx.Originally Posted by ozy Go to original post
The point in reference was that people have already gained score from this and to remove score from their leaderboards is unfair...ValidOriginally Posted by Buttcheekofdeth Go to original post
Nothing to do with whats is and what isn't a speedrunning track.
Sorry, misunderstanding.Originally Posted by ozy Go to original post
But, as I explained above, I still do not think that is a good reason. I would like those people to chime in but I'm going to guess that most of them ran those tracks "against their will" and would not mind if they were removed so that they don't have to compete on them in the future. Those who do like the tracks still have their awesome runs and can still compete on them individually.
If it will be solution 2 (or an acceptable 3) I would consider buying the dlc, but unicorn in global, NOPEOriginally Posted by En0- Go to original post
I dont play for leaderboard position, after I platinum a track I generally just move on. But with this unicorn crap ive now jumped from like 170ish to 80ish on XB1. All this tells me is the global leaderboards are now a joke. Im rusty, I havent been playing fusion... if anything my leaderboard position should have gone down after this DLC.
I would prefer to be lower ranked on a leaderboard with some semblance of legitimacy rather than higher ranked on a joke of a leaderboard. The fact ive jumped up so many positions despite being worse at the game just goes to show how far removed leaderboard position and skill have become from one another due to this latest DLC.
I am no longer remotely impressed by anyone with high leaderboard position and I think its within everyone's best interest, even those that took the time to grind out the unicorn tracks, that something is done so the leaderboards become somewhat meaningful again.
That doesn't make much sense. I don't like the Unicorn either but obviously most ppl you pass on LB haven't played the dlc yet. Happened with every dlc.Originally Posted by BeardinUSA Go to original post
