I hate that i have to log in and reply to this thread while im enjoying my vacation. Ive (always) been lurking the last few days since the awesome dlc came out and tbh i dont really know if i should buy it when im back. My mind was set on buying it no matter what, because of the editor objects. (Since i spend most of my time in the editor) but now...
I bought the season pass for 360 when it was released and i am still happy i did that. I played it and competed with awesome guys (esp. Dean and eevan) on tc until dlc nr 5. After that.. Couple of months ago i was lucky enough to win the ps4 version of the base game plus season 1 on your live stream on twitch.. I didnt have a ps4 at the time but i knew i was going to buy one so me winning the game was a win-win sitiation.
Fast forward to now. Ive been playing fusion on ps4 since april and after reading this thread and although it has been a few people that have stated their findings about the tearing of mostly the (i think ) all star tracks, these few people are one of the best builders/players/riders i know that where extremely active on 360 and imo have earned their credibility on the forum and trials community.
Honestly, i dont know what to think of it. I dont know how you guys (rl) managed/tested the tracks the all-stars guys uploaded. But after reading this it seems like you didnt quite test it properly before releasing them or for some other reason they lag/tear so badly.
So far i am still and always will be happy with the dlc1 that ive got and i will be making tracks as long as its possible for fusion and any future installment but im hesitant about buying this one. I can accept and tolerate a few screen tears and hiccups but to see that people would go make a thread about it is something i cant let go.
Btw (Ive seen all the tracks on fatshadys youtube channel. And all of them were tracks that i couldnt even dream of making. Congrats to all of you guys. And of course rl track creators. I enjoyed every single track of yours in the past and im glad there is atleast one dutch person in there. )
Cheers
Edit: apologies for the incomprehensive and long post.
Thanks for replying kid. I just read dahaka's thread he made, you and him are one of those people whose opinion i value. Although I am still on the fence about purchasing it, Im not a competetive player so once i get the plats for the tracks i dont see myself grinding them to increase my overall score so the tearing wont affect me that much in terms of enjoying the dlc. I am curious however what kind of objects there are included. What ive seen so far is an 'earth', rainbows and some ruins. Is there a stream where the objects were shown?Originally Posted by emcee Go to original post

Nice to see you posting mate. Just to let you know, kid didn't reply to you (he's presently banned from the forums) it was emcee not empcee - confusing i know.
Regarding your prior post, don't sell yourself short, you build excellent tracks and I am 100% sure if you were chosen as an AllStar you would make a more than worthy track with your own stamp on it.
As far as editor pieces go, I wouldn't purchase this dlc just for those as the offerings are meagre and not much more than what you described, but it is very cheap and I felt it was worth it just for the RedLynx vs AllStars tracks. My opinion only of course.
Take Care and enjoy your holiday!
Ah crap.. my bad. Sorry the emcee for the mix up. :s But same goes for you; i remember playing a lot of your tracks on evo.Originally Posted by D2Dahaka Go to original post
And thanks d2, for the kind words. If im going to buy the dlc it will probably be because of both the allstar tracks and objects, not just the objects. Although i dont grind tracks a lot i do like to go back to them once in a while and revisit them. I feel like 10€£$ isnt at all expensive for something i will probably invest more time in than any other game and/or expansion.
So l wilI probably just go ahead and buy it soon as im back home. You convinced me enough.
