After playing through the dlc on both x1 and ps4 i can confirm that the screen tearing is mainly prevalent on the x1 version. The Ps4 does have tearing in some of the same tracks, but it's largely restricted to the top part of the screen and is generally less severe. Not ideal on either platform, but the sitiation is better on ps4 as far as this dlc goes in case anyone was wondering.

Yea im on X1, the screen tearing and frame dips are absolutely unbelievable. Dark Carnival has been the worst for me so far, its just constant frame dips and tearing. There is no way the X1 version of this DLC went through a QA process. I honestly cant think of a console game with more glaring performance issues.

Its not like its an open world game where there are alot of variables that make system load difficult to predict. The tracks are fixed, the hardware is fixed... there is seriously no excuse other than nobody bothered to test it, or nobody bothered to fix it. The other issue is, its just window dressing... why push the hardware so close to its limits in the first place. Most people are focusing on the driving line during gameplay and alot of the background detail that bogs down the system goes completely unnoticed.

Included are 2 screen shots of Boron city. These screen shots show a ramp mid way through the map that is only half the time razed properly. What is supposed to happen is for the iron gate to raze taking this ramp up with it, sometimes the iron gate leaves the ramp behind. If you just reset to the last CP the ramp fixes its self so its not all bad. Loving the DLC right now, and wondering if anybody else has seen this weird issue, or had there platinum runs ruined by it.

This is what it should look like

This is what I kept finding

Im almost positive nothing can be done about this now but about 1/3 runs for me was stopped by this fence. I just wanted to make sure somebody knew.

After reviewing my case and seeing how bad the tearing is they gave me a refund. Arkham City manages a huge open world with no tearing, this just isn't good enough by my standards, happy to have my money back

Nice one, glad you got it sorted out. It's a shame though, would have looked forward to any of your future tracks for Fusion, use to enjoy your ones on Evo.

Yeah it's quite bad. The only thing I can think of is most the objects were not set to decoration and the draw distance was at max, I say this because a few of the tracks didn't even have a lot going on in them so screen tearing shouldn't have even been an issue. But if it's less of a problem on the PS4 as mentioned then I cant work it out why it is worse on the Xbox One. Doesn't make sense.

I totally agree with you that the tearing shouldn't be here and we should have avoided it. However, Arkham City is a 30 fps game (against 60 for Trials) and 3 to 4 times the budget Let's compare things that are comparable: previous DLCs work fine, this one should have worked fine as well.

Did... did you just admit redlynx made a mistake? En0, you are making me all emotional over here, I think I might start to tear up.
