    3rd Person Perspective When Aiming

I hope you guys DON'T make it so that every time players aim with their weapons (holding down LT/L2 triggers) that it would automatically go into first person mode with the reticle. Keep it like how it was in Ghost Recon Future Soldier, where if you hold down LT/L2 you would still be able to see the head and gun, but then when you click on the right thumbstick it would go into aimed scoping with the reticle. or just make it an adjustable thing in the options menu.

    Sorry edited my english sucks

Im not sure what your saying, do you not want forced ADS when scoping? They game is being built as a hybrid 3rd person shooter with forced first person scoping and from someone whos played with that its the best way possible with the addition of the cover system in place.

I think options are a good thing, a simple click of a button to go into first person view for firing would be a nice addition. it works well in MGS GZ.

Ok you do know the button used for scoping will automatically take you into first person right? This is how the game is being designed the same way they did it for ghost recon phantoms. The took all the key mechanics from that game and if you haven't seen that watch a few game play videos, it will be like that but 400% a better game i hope being AAA and full development staff. So as far as i know you wont be able to toggle first person or third person but a hybrid having third person un scoped but always first person when scoped.

Yeah i'v seen it how it works, for me, the option would be nice to be able to shoot in TPV or FPV.

Ok now i understand what your saying, you want a toggle feature that if someone wanted the third person experience only they could have it then. Well for coop missions they could maybe implement something like that, don't know if they would but for multiplayer it would be a game breaker. The reason being anyone opting for third only has much less chance of being flanked then someone scoped in first person creating an advantage based on personal choice. I really like the current system and despite some saying its less immersive and creates easy mode because you can see more vs first person really hasn't played much or any GRP. This was, mechanics included what made GRP a great game despite having way more faults making it unplayable but why im really looking forward to this game and getting back some of what there was to enjoy about GRP. Now with that said im sure you love the division because that gives you the complete third person experience in a shooter with the epicness of it being a rpg. The only concern i have is can UBIsoft and these development houses pull off 2 home run titles back to back not only in the clancy-verse but in just overall games, i think its possible despite siege falling flat before release.

Good point. If it was third person shooting at the core and had an option to use FPV for more accuracy it would work.
Maybe first person shooting could be more accurate but TPV would have more bullet spread?

Sorry guys what i meant was keep it like how it was in Ghost Recon Future Soldier, where if you hold down LT/L2 you would still be able to see their head and gun, but then when you click on the right thumbstick it would go into aimed scoping with the reticle.

Well i can tell you based on what they have shown this will be forced ADS when you hold down the scope button and as far as i know wont have a toggle feature for those who just want the third person experience unless they choose to scope in first person. As i explained above this could create issues because then you could choose basically the FOV you want to have and give some players a key advantage based on there play style and what they like. I personally loved this style from GRP pre open beta and during that time what made that such a great game and happy to see it carry over in what will hopefully be a proper AAA title.
