Finger-style playing on Tuesday's Gone? | Forums

I just got around to watching the Lynyrd Skynyrd Twitch stream from last week and I noticed that the Rocksmith dev that is playing guitar on Tuesday's Gone, at the point where you get the fast purple and orange notes, he quickly palms the pick and plays that section fingerstyle.

I'm just wondering if that's the "correct" way to play it. Anyone else play it this way?

I play it hybrid picking. It's the only right way!!!
