    I don't like the blue/red lightened sword while a killing move/block/sword feat .

I would suggest to just remove the lighting. I don't think that such a bloody and obviously serious game for major audiences needs such a "shiny tinky winky" gadget. Just a little suggestion.

    Cheers!

It looks like some sort of indicator because it's not always glowing, maybe for unlocking feats? I might be wrong though because the samurai has them unlocked at the end, but then it glows for longer, maybe it tells you something about the combat like parries or deflects.

Might not be necessary, but I can't tell until I know what it is.

I agree. Nothing should be highlighted. Thats what i hated about the assassins creed games.

There is no need for that light even if it say you have some kind of buff or advantage. Just throw word in tutorial. That light breaks medieval feeling and bring us more to lightsaber or manga things.

If it is there to indicate a buff, I think there are alternatives to it, some that don't have to bring this visual polution. For buffs the characters could perform battlecries or something like it. "BANZAAAI!" for a damage buff, for instance.

I actually like it that way. It gives the visual emotion you need to feel you succeeded, and its cool
