I think we're also underestimating our power as players. We can just turn servers into duel servers if the players respect the unwritten rules of the duel. We could even create crew battles! 4v4 where you play 1v1, winner stays. Next of member of the losers team fights the winner, repeat till one team loses.

I didnt say all, I said most of the player base, and that doesn't kill multiplayer, I am ofcourse in favor of more gamemodes, but as said, not more than 4-6.

And I dont see how making a good gamemode that attracts a lot of players kills the multiplayer, I think LoL and Dota 2 are doing fine with having just one gamemode that attracts most of the playerbase of the game. Valve and Riot killed the multiplayer, but somehow they have the most succesful multiplayer games that ever existed.

Obviosly that gamemode has to be deep enough to be playable a lot of hours. What I dont want is 15 gamemodes that all are really bad designed because the devs tryed to make them all, and then the community is so ****ing split between gamemodes that the queues for ranked are absurdly long or the matchmaking end up matching people with so much ****ing difference of skill that is not fun to play.

People here seems like want all the gamemodes possible, and that is bad, is better 4-5 well designed gamemodes, with good maps for each one, good respawns, etc. than 15 ****ty designed ones.

And about the 1v1 gamemode, there is no problem of having it always, people might get frustrated on teammates and end up playing some 1v1, but if the Dominion gamemode is good enought they will comeback once they calm down. The only use 1v1 will have for me is training my duel skills so I can destroy in Dominion later.

And you might enjoy seeing 1v1, but I assure you that the majority of people enjoy a lot more looking at Teams fighting eachother, if not LoL and Dota wouldnt be the most played games ever.

I imagine the duel mode could go one of three ways, 1: A simple 1v1 match with no other players 2: Blade symphony style where people get a part of the map to duel, multiple players dueling and waiting for spaces to open, or 3: Chivalry style where there is one map that is instanced per duel, but still multiple people, and a "challenging" system to choose who you want to fight.
