This is a HUGE update, and opens so many doors for Trials fans, n community alike.l I love the idea about the Dashboard, with Fatshadys tutorials being put up there. There is a lot of community projects, collabs, comps etc that could do well in this.. Give the streamers, YT video makers at chance to get something added I hope..
Excellent update RL imo, and I'm very excited to see how this expands.. Bravo guys..

Maybe you guys could add a new vehicle.. A mobility cart, with a walking stick weilding pensioner..

    Very nice update
Fusion has now grown into, what I for one always hoped it would be
Micro transactions of course are optional and not necessary/compulsary to enjoy the game,
There is now more than enough going on that everyone can go in and out of whatever it is they want out of Trials... GG RL
Really looking forward to this update and DLC.

By not buying it we won't have a disadvantage compared to anyone who does.
Actually, its a very big deal... We have been asking for more customization in this game since it was released and now it looks like they are giving us the biggest customisation update since the games release and locking it behind what is most likely going to be a pay wall since i cant imagine they will be giving the currency away in volume via the methods they mentioned.

This has to be the best update to date , proberbly one that should have been added months ago or even in the game at launch. Something tells me that they have held out for this long to add something towards the latter end of the game so to speak to liven things up. Again very good move , this will get alot of people revisiting other parts of the game. The career campagin becaus of the hints and so forth , building because of the tutorials and many more which will come refreshed with the new dashboard. This update sounds awsome and good for the game yet seems some are alittle against somethings. Oh well cant keep them all happy.

It wouldn't be wise for the game to just hand out all items to all without having a gradual pace setter at getting things. There is also the fact that being able to actually buy them as well will give people the same chance to sample the items who camt manage some of the skills in the game to aqauire said things. Ok yeah its a money ploy but so what. Thats the way of the world , as long as its not pushed in ur face everywhere then im cool with choosing if i want to buy some items or dont. If not i will wait till i have earn't enough of the currency. this will no doubt give a longer shelf life to them than handing them out in one update.

I do have a question all though i do intend to get the dlc , the post refferes to the update as though it is n conjunction with the dlc. Does this mean that unless people pay for the dlc , they wont be able to actually aqauire the currency , many items and so forth and many more things. Or is the update a stand alone update for the game. sure it kept mentioning level max through out the announcment of the update. If so this is alittle shady and dodgy lol , i would imagine people who play the game have warented access to all the said above without having to also pay for the dlc.

All the items and skins sound great but will in the end become old news so for me the massive part of this and one that i 150% thought should have been within the game from launch was the tutorials. I hope that the tutorials are not just learning the skill of the bike though and also incorporate a massive part towards building within the editor. This has been needed ingame since the dawn of man lol so i hope we get in game tutorials about building within the editor because to new builders as it was to me , the editor was a very overwhelming thing to diver in alone , all though i did and naked too

really looking forward to this update/dlc , whether some think its maybe is going in the wrong direction , at the end of the day trials as a true form is still there underneath and us gamers know that so anything else added to the game has to be a plus.

oh yeah +1 with what bog said about the portals , they wasnt here one minute then the next . Boom there they were lol....as if they just appeared from no where hahahaha

Excelente dev diary and still more to be unveiled in the future which is awesome. The customatization that we've always wanted is here finally, even though that will require a different currency (hope we can buy some with ingame money that its totally worthless now). Even if this currrency takes a bit to get by grinding, at least it will add even more hours to the game and that's what we all want. Unless the grinding gets a bit annoying after a while like on Frontier...

Everyone being able to play all the tracks online even not owning the dlc, is very good news and a new dashboard with videos along with other stuff, that will be great if well done and updated in a consistent way. On that dash, streams were mentioned, is that only regarding official streams or do people like me and a lot of other people that stream Trials, will also get a bit of "attention" there?

New supercross tracks are always welcome too.

In the end, like it was said before, this is probably the best update that we will get and at the same time as the new DLC. I just hope the game doesnt crash with so many information in 1 go, even though I guess the game will be updated a few days before and bit by bit.

Can't wait for the update!! I guess if you are a true Trials fan, there's no way you cannot be excited with all this content.

    Hi everyone,

Thanks for the feedback. Please keep the questions coming, Shifty is preparing another dev update focused on the customization and new virtual currency.

Well... we would have really liked to give everything for free, but the problem is that the teams don't work for free, which is understandable. Almost nobody would do his day-to-day job for free. It's important to keep our budgets balanced to be able to keep supporting Fusion a little bit more and to do the next games.

@Funktastic: There is no link between this update and the DLC except the date.

    Cheers,

Agreed with everyone (and glad pretty much everyone agrees this time), this is an awesome update. I'm even okay with the micro-transactions, but only because it'll sort of force me to go back to Tournaments. I actually prefer these Tournaments to prior installments, but just sort of quit due to no real reason to play them. I am a little uneasy that these micro-transactions may be an incremental step toward something more sinister, but as long as my fears are unwarranted and these are fairly easy to get (like place well in 2-3 Tournaments is enough to buy something), I'm okay with this and look forward to it.

Also looking forward to the DLC and I never thought of it as Trials going in the wrong direction. To me, it just appears to be a ridiculously fun bonus with the devs having fun. Maybe even by doing something so far out was therapeutic even, blow off some steam, and refresh their creativity.

    @Eno

Thanx for the reply , i wonder if any of the currency can be earn't from the building side of the game. That would be cool , could give people more insentive to create. And not just slap anything up in tc. What would be cool is maybe a give away to selected tracks monthly or something like that. Might improve decor and quality in the tracks. Just thinking out load
