You could add to the ability to create your own emblem from scratch or can make its own logo on the armor of their warrior posting to Twitter or other social media an image that you want to use the emblem. I live in Arezzo, a Tuscan town with a medieval event where there are four factions, each with its own symbol, and our knights each have their emblem and their armor. I am part of the Chimeras and I would use my sign! A chimera background with "blood and gold"
i'm an italian noob.... my english suck sorry.... i can talk only with my Sword![]()
Definitely support this idea. I love multiplayer games that enable you to signify yourself to other players beyond stock emblems provided through unlocks and things, and the setting lends itself completely toward having a customisable Coat of Arms (or its equivalent).
I would say 'the more options the better' but remain warry for what I'll see when going online. For example, the last Call of Duty I played (I think it was the first Black Ops), they gave a multitude of options, multiple layers and pieces, for people to make whatever they wanted, which was wonderful, until I went online and say nothing but swastikas and cartoon sausages (<- euphemism) people made for their emblems.
On the other hand, Uncharted 3 gave you the ability to make an emblem in multiplayer, and I think they struck a good balance between options and limitations, so I rarely if ever saw the same emblem twice, but there wasn't so many options that people could make something crazy.
and what about a ceremonial equipment and another one for the battle?
we have a parade helmet that we bring to the beginning of the fight. under the ornamental helmet, we have the helmet battle itself. before beginning we take off the parade helmet and start the fight. Maybe in the game lobby and in the intro of a fight of a particular mode, each player may bring their own helmet / battle ornament. The helmets of the knights are in fact truly spectacular, and I think Samurai and Vikings have their ornaments battle that could be included in the game.
(you can't fight with this, but it's gorgeous to bring one in the head, believe me)
